Nikki, a 1 year old husky, is starting her board and train!

She is full of energy, but that energy makes walks a challenge—she pulls, barks, and lunges at dogs out of excitement. She also struggles to settle on her own outside of her kennel, making downtime at home difficult. On top of that, her owners are adjusting to life with two dogs and need extra guidance on integrating Nikki into their routine.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be working on structured leash walking, teaching her how to relax, and helping her owners navigate life with two dogs. Can’t wait to see her progress!

Gracie, the Boston Terrier, is here for off-leash E-Collar training!

She struggles with coming when called, especially around distractions. By conditioning her to an E-Collar, we’ll help ensure she responds reliably, no matter what’s going on around her.

E-Collar training is a great way to expand your dog’s world, giving them off-leash freedom while giving you peace of mind that they’ll still listen!

Sweet Oreo, a 7-month-old bully mix, is here for day training!

She’s a nervous girl, so we’ll be working on building her confidence in new environments and situations. We’ll also teach her the place command so that when she starts getting too amped up at home with her housemates, her owner can have her settle and relax.

Being newly adopted, she needs a little extra structure and boundaries as she adjusts to her new family, and we’ll be guiding her owners every step of the way!

Rip, a 1-year-old chocolate Lab, is starting day training!

He’ll be working on basic obedience commands, along with learning how to greet people politely—keeping all four paws on the floor. We love his enthusiasm for life, but we also want to give him the structure to dial it back when needed.

Sonny had his first training field trip! This was a great confidence-boosting outing for him, experiencing lots of new sounds, sights, and smells. We brought another more confident puppy as a sort of “monkey see, monkey do” aspect. We found that when Sonny sees another dog do something without fear or nervousness, he’s more apt to try it with little to no hesitation.

And in this case, it seemed to work! He did great—listening the whole time, walking alongside his handler with no pulling, and even showing curiosity toward the small animals and fish tanks, which is huge! 🙌

Even though we wish we could have exposed him to the world while he was younger (8-12 weeks), you can still create a neutral, well-mannered dog no matter their age! Confidence building takes time, patience, and positive experiences, but outings like these help nervous dogs learn to navigate the world with curiosity instead of fear.

If your dog struggles with confidence, structured exposure and the right guidance can make all the difference. Need help? Set up a free consultation through the link in my bio!

Lady, a bulldog-heeler mix, is here for day training!

Her owners have been struggling with her pulling on walks (she’s almost taken them down a few times!), not knowing how to settle, and completely ignoring personal space. Whether she’s jumping on furniture or climbing into laps uninvited, Lady doesn’t quite understand boundaries just yet.

While she’s here, we’ll focus on:
➡️ Teaching her to walk nicely on leash.
➡️ Helping her learn how to settle and “read the room.”
➡️ Establishing an “off” and “up” command so she knows she must be invited onto furniture and can be asked to get down without a fight.

With her Heeler instincts, Lady thrives when she has clear boundaries, structure, and consistent rules at home—without them, she’ll take full advantage of her freedom! By the end of this program, Lady will have the tools to live harmoniously with her family.

Follow along to see her progress!

Fennic completed his board and train! 🎉

When Fennic first came to us, he was very nervous, which led to reactivity on walks. He also had a tendency to pull hard on the leash—so much so that he almost pulled his owner down a few times. Overall, he struggled with listening and focusing.

To help Fennic and his owner build a stronger bond, we invited her out frequently to practice working with him. Through these sessions, Fennic started to realize he needed to listen to his owner, and we saw their relationship grow and develop in such a positive direction!

Now, with a solid foundation of obedience skills and newfound confidence for both Fennic and his owner, they’re ready to enjoy life together harmoniously!

An empty playground can be an amazing training opportunity!

Playgrounds aren’t just for kids—they can be a great place to build your dog’s confidence and strengthen trust between you and your pup. Walking on new surfaces, navigating stairs, and exploring elevated areas (that are safe!) can help desensitize your dog to new environments while keeping the session fun and rewarding.

A few important things to remember:

➡️ Stay on flat, safe surfaces like the floor or stairs—don’t push your dog to try anything unsafe, like slides or high obstacles.

➡️ Make sure your dog relieves themselves before you begin, and do not allow them to mark on the play equipment.

➡️ Take it slow and let your dog move at their own pace—this is about confidence-building, not rushing!

➡️ If anyone comes to use the playground, always be respectful and move out of their way.

Training like this isn’t just about obedience; it’s about creating trust, building new skills, and giving your dog a positive experience in new places.

Have you ever used a playground for training? Let us know in the comments!

puppy pics to brighten your day!

One of the best parts of this job is being a part of your puppy’s journey. Watching these little ones grow from tiny pups into incredible adult dogs is so rewarding. They never fail to remind us why they’re called “man’s best friend”!

We’re beyond grateful to be trusted with your puppies and love when you bring them back to see us!

Rudy has completed our Puppy Day Train Program!🥳

Our goal was to set Rudy up for a lifetime of success by focusing on proper socialization, desensitization, and foundational skills to help him become the best companion he can be. Since Rudy will grow into a bigger dog, teaching proper greeting behaviors (like no jumping and staying in a sit) was a priority. His owners have also learned how to manage his excitement and redirect his attention back to them when needed.

Keep up the amazing work y’all!

Rooney, a 6 year old Aussie, is starting her board and train!

We’ll be working on her leash reactivity and impulse control—common challenges for herding breeds. Aussies are bred to herd sheep, but their ‘sheep’ can often include cars, children, other dogs, or anything that moves! With her owners preparing to welcome a baby, it’s crucial to help Rooney stay calm in these situations and learn to look to her owners for guidance and direction.

Does this sound like your herding breed? Let us help you bring calmness and balance to your household! Visit our website to get started today.

Rudy is wrapping up his final days of training, and we’re so proud of how far he’s come! This week, we’re focusing on building the 3 D’s—distance, duration, and distractions—in his obedience, while also getting him out and about in the real world.

Training trips allow us to help Rudy work through nervousness around new stimuli and proof his obedience in different environments. Our goal is to achieve neutrality toward distractions like people and other dogs. We don’t want dogs to be overly excited or nervous—instead, we teach them to see these things as natural parts of their environment, so they remain calm and well-mannered.

How does your dog behave in public? Wish they were more well-mannered? We can help! Set up a free consultation through our website, and let’s get started!
