Saturday and Sunday hours only!

My part time job is to cover weekends so my full time workers during the week can be off. This works great for students in the Denton area so that the weekdays can be devoted to school Literally minutes away from UNT stadium, the usual tasks of caring for horsses to clean stalls and waters and put horses in and out of pastures. Can give you lots more details and hope you will give me lots of details in your response. What is your experience and have you been around horses? Do you already have a full time job? Reliable transportation? Clean driver's license? Please share anything that might be pertinent and I'll get back to all of those that sound like might be a good fit and us a good fit for you. Thanks for your interest.

all around farm work for someone wanting long term. Hot, dirty or cold and freezing depending on Texas weather. Depends on who I hire first as to what the second person qualifications/experience is required. Usual cleaning stalls and assuring clean water, putting horses in pasture parts of the day, bringing hay from hay barn to horse barns, yard work, cleaning barns--everyday horse farm stuff. No horse riding. May be mowing in pastures if we ever get a drop of hay with bushhog or now, putting round bales of hay in different areas since we have so little grass. Please respond by telling me why you happen to be looking for full time right now, any horse or tractor experience, if reliable transportation and I'll be happy to give you more info about us if you might be a good fit and us a good fit for you. What hours and days are you available? Small business where animal care is the priority and I have expectations to keep the horses friendly and happy. Thanks for reading and especially if you are interested, write and I am happy to give you more info. .

Surprising that once again, we find ourselves in need of.a worker suddenly just when it turns hot! .job entails putting horses in and out of stalls, cleaning waters in stalls and in pastures, bringing hay bales from hay barn to barns, adding bags of shavings to stalls and.other glamorous work. Hot, dusty and heavy! If you live close to UNT, and depending how efficiently you can get work done, is okay to go home for long lunches and durimg worst heat. But responsible to feed both morning and dinner both Saturdays and Sundays. Having experience around horses a big plus. Or ranch work.

Has worked great in the past for students going to summer school.

If you are interested, please respond if you have reliable transportation, why you are interested, if you already work full time somewhere else and any experience around large horses. Thank you!

Per a special request (Bev!), I am attaching photos of the 4 foals we have had so far this Spring, even though all the photos are dark and less than stellar due to our rainy weather forever. This beauty is named Zaya, name chosen by owner Lilly (thank you for this in utero purchase!) after Lily fell in love with Destinada's photos and videos. Zaya is leggy and will be grey, as all of Destinada's are. Love the depth of her hip on top of the rest of her looks. In a few years, we will be watching to see how Lily and Zaya do in the dressage ring.

Having seen how Vendexa has matured and what a great mother she is, we will breed Destinada back to Gitano as one never knows how many more these "mature" mares may birth. However, Zaya is the first of the cross with Kairo.

This gem, not yet named by his in utero buyer, was born looking like a mini-horse and impossibly friendly. Sold to a friend and previous customer, I hope we will see this one out of Vendexa and by Kairo in the dressage ring or maybe eventing since he already jumped one of our stone walls. We think, but not positive, that he is grey. Rebred Vendexa last week to Kairo and I think that one already spoken for, if Vendexa took.

Meet Zara, a recent black beauty! Sired by Kairo and out of Otamisia, this lovely will eventually head to her permanent home in Louisiana. Thank you Michelle for purchasing this little firecracker who seems way too smart to be the age she is! We just bred Otamisia back to Kairo for another black---so far all of this cross has been solid black with no markings. Available for purchase of the 2022 foal in utero.

Posted on personal page but wanted on farm page so here I go again! This fabulous c**t born yesterday and I am more than thrilled for the lady who purchased in utero, Deborah. And most gratefful to Doreen Kula, Aisling Sport Horses who owns sire, Festivo MR for allowing us to breed our special Osada. We already can see that he is calm and athletic!

Part time Weekend Farm job horses in Denton (Denton)

compensation: $11.50/HOUR
employment type: part-time
Need weekend helper for general farm work where we raise horses. No riding. Clean stalls, feed horses and general around the property work like bringing hay to barns, cleaning waters, etc. Must have reliable transportation so you can get here when we are counting on you! Great if you have driven a small tractor as we use one to pull manure spreader. Occasional errand running in our vehicle. Willing to train but prefer someone used to animals as we have stallions and large mares and babies. Being responsible is the main requirement. Gets heavy pulling wheel barrows and lifting square bales!

Great for students since part time. Located close to UNT campus.

Generally, 9 to 5 and in summer, take off during afternoons when too hot. Horses are fed morning and night so need to be here then. Depending on weather and what is going on here, sometimes more hours may be available.

If responding, please provide info:
1. Have you any experience around horses?
2. What days and hours are you looking for? How many total hours are you hoping for?
3. Any experience working outside when cold or hot?
