We just saw two huskies (one grey and one red) run into the woods behind the clinic. Our technician tried to grab them but could not catch them.

✨ Meet Violet — our little miracle girl looking for her forever home ✨

If you came to our Fall Festival, you helped write this girl’s story. Every dollar raised went toward our Daisy Fund, and that fund gave Violet the life-saving surgery she desperately needed. 💛

She had her front right leg amputated, but don’t let that fool you — she is pure love.
Three legs, zero limitations, and one giant heart.

Violet is gentle, snuggly, brave, and ready for someone who sees just how special she is. 🐾💕

If you’ve been thinking about adopting… this is your sign.
Violet deserves a home that loves her as much as she loves everyone she meets.

Send us a message or call the clinic if you’d like to meet her. 💛🩷✨

🦃 Thanksgiving Pet Hazards to Watch For!

The holidays are fun… until your pet sneaks something they shouldn’t. 😱 Here are the biggest dangers we see this time of year:

⚠️ Foods to Avoid
• Turkey bones – splinter and cause internal injury
• Turkey skin & fatty scraps – major pancreatitis risk
• Onions, garlic, chives – toxic to dogs & cats
• Grapes/raisins – can cause kidney failure
• Chocolate & desserts – toxic + pancreatitis
• Xylitol (sugar-free anything) – extremely dangerous

⚠️ Other Holiday Hazards
• Counter-surfing burns from hot pans/ stoves
• String/ribbon from decorations — bowel obstruction risk
• Open trash cans — the #1 holiday emergency

Dr. Courtney Seymour, DVM

I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2016. I have previously worked at a mixed animal clinic, but my passion has always been small animals. At Seymour Animal Care Clinic, we strive to preserve the special bond between people and their companion, through progressive high quality medicine. We are passionate about getting to know our clients and patients. We will push ourselves to be the best we can be while maintaining a clean, safe, family oriented environment. We appreciate the trust our patients and clients have in us, and are very excited to be a part of Denton. We look forward to many years of serving your community and your pets.
