Meet Anthony!

This sweet Chihuahua has a heart as gentle as his tiny paws. He may be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he’s all cuddles and cozy naps. Anthony loves everyone he meets—kids, dogs, and even cats! He thrives in calm company and melts for soft voices and gentle pets. 

Don’t let his quiet nature fool you, though—he’s got a playful, mischievous side and might just sneak a snack when you’re not looking. Overall, Anthony is a happy, mellow little guy who’s ready to find his forever home and the perfect lap to call his own.

Hi, my name is Mara!

I recently made my way to Colorado, and I’m so excited to start this new chapter! I’m about 10 months old and full of love and enthusiasm. My favorite thing in the world is being close to my people — I’m a total snuggle bug and will happily curl right up next to you (or on you if you let me!).

I’m potty trained, sleep through the night in my crate, and love going on neighborhood walks to explore all the new smells. I’m still a puppy at heart and getting used to my new life, so I’m still working on learning my basic commands and good manners, but I’m smart and really want to please!

I get along great with calmer dogs and don’t mind cats. I’m kid-friendly, affectionate, and always ready for cuddles.

I can’t wait to find my forever family — I have so much love to give and know we’ll make the happiest team!

Without foster homes here in Colorado, we can’t commit to saving more lives.

Our rescue partners in Kansas, Pagosa Springs, and Portales are overflowing — dogs of all ages (even tiny puppies) are being euthanized every day. We need fosters to step up.

Fostering is one of the most rewarding things you can do — it literally saves lives. We provide all supplies; you just provide love and a safe place to land. Not ready for a long-term commitment? Temporary fosters are always needed too!

Apply to foster on our website, and DM us with any questions. You could be the reason a dog gets their second chance. 🐾

Meet Zeke!

Zeke is a 4-month-old shepherd mix with a heart as big as his floppy ears! This sweet, curious pup is on the search for his forever family—a home where he can share his love, playfulness, and endless cuddles.

Zeke is a little hesitant around people and other dogs but is slowly warming up to them. We’ve been working on socializing him but he would benefit from continued work. He loves to explore, chew on his favorite toys, and will do just about anything for a tasty treat. When he’s not playing or investigating every corner of his world, he’s happiest curled up next to you for a good snuggle.

Zeke is still a puppy, so he’s learning the basics, but he’s smart, eager to please, and food-motivated—making training a breeze with a little patience and love.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will grow up by your side, bring joy to your days, and always greet you with a wagging tail, Zeke might just be the perfect pup for you.

Meet Allie! (No, we are not adopting out our Founder 😂)

Allie is a sweet little ball of energy looking for someone to play and cuddle with. She loves all people and other dogs, always ready to make a new friend!
Allie knows “sit” and is working on lay and come. She is a little skittish in new places but once she gets to know them, she feels right at home. She is potty trained and is good on walks and very rarely pulls. We are working on training her to walk past other dogs instead of laying down waiting to meet with them. She is slightly food motivated and barks if you are eating around her, but we are working on this and it is the only time I have ever heard her bark.

Allie would do great in a home with another dog or someone who is home frequently to play with her. She spent a few days with another puppy and she played great but a little rough. She is very smart and learns quickly but has a lot of energy so enrichment toys and puzzles are great for her.

While winding down, Allie is a complete snuggle bug and will lay right next to (or on top of) you on the couch and is a great companion to have.

Meet Tuffy!

Meet your new best friend!! Tuffy is the snuggliest bug! He loves to be with his people, by his people, on his people, always. He has not met a stranger yet, and he loves every dog. He has the softest fur and the silliest ears.

Tuffy immediately preferred going potty outside and gets excited for every meal. We’re still working on crate training, but he happily naps next to his family on the couch. And because he’s so good motivated, he’s learning his basic commands quickly.

This dog is a total love, and he’s ready to give all of that love to his forever family. Could it be you?

ADOPTABLE ♥️

Everyone meet Ditcher, a female Border Collie mix that will steal your heart. We don’t know much about her background except that she had recently been living as a stray in New Mexico. Despite being dealt a rough hand she is somehow still the happiest, sweetest lady (hence her nickname, “Lady”) who gives nothing but love and just asks for the same in return.

While she doesn’t mind her apartment and she loves the park next door, I’m sure she would love a house with a yard, and do great with either another confident, chill, dog or as the only dog. She’s a girl that can do both, just as happy running around the park as she is chilling on the couch.

Ditcher has made so much progress and is still working on being her most confident self. She can get overwhelmed in crowded settings and a bit shy meeting new dogs, so slow introductions would be advised. Having not lived in doors she is still working on potty training but as smart as she is will have it down in no time. She mastered “sit” within minutes and is eager to learn all the other commands.

Adopt Ditch to help her see the world isn’t so scary and to give her the home she’s been waiting for!
