We’re moving Reckon (uncle to the GOATs!) to the next level of horseback field trialing—hour long stakes. He ran in the Grand OLGD stake this weekend, in the Northern Colorado Brittany Club trial. It was hot and soooo windy. He ran the course with power and endurance, forward. He doesn’t know “give up” and was found standing at 59 minutes and 30 seconds. He was rewarded with a second placement. It feels like a blue, to have placed among such an incredible crew! Reckon is more than I could have ever hoped for as one of my first field trial dogs. He’s made me learn how to handle a high powered dog who LOVES catching the front. He’s in his prime, getting stronger. I’m so excited for the many years ahead that we’ll compete together! Thank you to Jeff for putting on such a great trial and to Wayne and Gary for watching our Roo. And thank you Mick for scouting! So excited to run him at the RMVC Regional Championship next week! He’s Smarti/Skole, loved and owned by me.

The last of the GOATs 2.0 went home today 🌟

Jordan ❤️ now Jaxxon will be training to compete in agility with Katherine and Dale Hokens. Go get it Jaxxon! We're SO excited for the day we get to come out and cheer you on!

Manon 💗 went home with her new dad Ryan. She gets to live an active outside life with lots of camping and hiking in the mountains of CO. It was love at first sight for these two 🥰

For those keeping score, yes, that means that Arnie 🧡 and Ducky 💛 will be sticking around 🥰 🤭

Our first babies left the nest this weekend 🌟 They are Fusion Vizslas + HoldFast Vizslas Biscuit/Edge GOATs 2.0 litter ✨

Vonn 💚 is off to Canada to field trial and do a whole slew of other fun things with Sable Creek Vizslas

Bolt 💙 now Kato will stay here in Colorado to hunt with his full brother from the first Biscuit/Edge GOAT litter

Messi 🖤 will be hunting primarily in Texas and Wyoming with his new favorite people

It was a big day for the babies! A new playpen setup with crates and their first time outside - wind, sunshine, lots of new smells, and exploring through thick cover (for them!) 🤩 Oh and a quail wing to carry around 🥰 The GOATs 2.0 are Biscuit/Edge and they are almost 6 weeks old 💫
