Keep Candy Out of Reach: Chocolate and xylitol (found in sugar-free treats) are toxic to pets.

We had an absolute blast attending the first annual Denver Dog Days this weekend! 🐾 It was a day full of wagging tails, lots of cuddles, and some of the cutest costumes we’ve ever seen! 🎃🐕 From superheroes to silly hats, the creativity was off the charts.

We loved meeting all of you and your adorable pups, handing out delicious pup cups, and being part of this fun community event. It was great to see so many happy dogs and their amazing owners! 🐶💙

Meet Levi, the brave kitty who had a close call after getting caught in the washing machine! 🧺🐱 This curious little guy was extremely lucky, and thanks to his quick-thinking family and our emergency care team at RiNoVet, Levi is safe and sound. 🙏💙

🐾 Patient Spotlight: Meet Ivy the Sphynx! 🐾

Say hello to Ivy, the sweetest Sphynx with the fiercest RBF (Resting Beautiful Face 😉). Ivy came to us with a corneal ulcer, but despite her tough look, she was an absolute cuddle bug throughout her treatment! 💙🐱

Corneal ulcers in pets can be painful and require quick attention. If you notice your cat squinting, pawing at their eyes, or excessive tearing, it might be a sign of an eye issue that needs treatment.

We’re happy to report that Ivy is healing well and still stealing hearts with her adorable snuggles! 🥰 We’re always here, 24/7, to make sure your pets get the care they need, no matter how tough they look! 🐾

🌟 Meet Cinderella, Our Little Fighter! 🌟

Cinderella, a sweet rescued kitten, recently visited us at RiNoVet Animal Emergency Care with a case of Upper Respiratory Infection (URI). Thanks to our amazing team and her strong spirit, Cinderella is on her way to feeling better!

🐾 What is a URI? 🐾 URIs are common in cats, especially kittens and rescues. These infections can cause symptoms like:

Sneezing and coughing
Nasal discharge
Watery eyes
Reduced appetite
Lethargy

If you notice any of these signs in your cat, it’s essential to seek veterinary care promptly! Early treatment can make a world of difference in their recovery. 💕

🐾 Meet Ruby, a sweet 2-month-old Golden Retriever who recently visited us with some serious liver concerns. Poor Ruby had been experiencing multiple episodes of vomiting and loss of appetite, leaving her family worried. After being hospitalized and receiving around-the-clock care from our team, we're thrilled to share that Ruby is feeling much better! 🩺💕

Her liver values were carefully monitored, and with lots of love and medical attention, Ruby’s symptoms have resolved. She’s back to her playful puppy self, bringing endless joy to everyone around her. 🐶❤️

Our beloved team member Mini has recovered beautifully after MPL surgery, thanks to the expertise of Dr. Davila. 🦸‍♂️ Mini, the adorable 3-year-old Chihuahua mix, is our very own superhero, showing incredible resilience and spirit throughout the process. 💖 For those unfamiliar, MPL surgery corrects the dislocation of the kneecap, ensuring our furry friends can enjoy life to the fullest.
