Happy Love Day Everyone! Your relationship with your animal companion is built on the foundation of unconditional love. One of the amazing things about unconditional love is that it can give us an space to learn in a very open and deep way.
What is the greatest lesson you have learned from the unconditional love of your companion? Would love for you to share your answer in the comments.
Here is my answer:
With Mr. Ping...patience...he is one of the most patient beings that I have ever met..which means he never gives up on me..and he has taught me to treat myself in this same way. We have quite literally been through the thick n thin together.
Moony teaches me to have deeper compassion and understanding and less judgmental. He has also taught me to be more balanced in my leadership. He is adorable and affectionate....when he came to live with us he was quite feral in his awareness and very reactive. I could tell he needed love...but there were times where I had to dig deep into the softness of my heart to be that support and keep everyone safe. He has grown so much in the last 21 months...and so have I...we did it together.
