If you can’t, set up a plan with your groomer. For real. If your pet is already matted, don’t brush it out. It hurts them. Take them to a groomer.
Don’t blame your groomer if you get a bald dog back.
Matting can cause hot spots, bruising, wounds, bacterial/fungal infections, overheating, and bug/pest infestations (yes, ON your pet). Plus more.

I’ve been so lucky to spend so much time with Blaze this week! 😻 You’d never guess that this handsome man is 16 years old, at least. He was rescued at ~1yr old and has been absolutely spoiled ever since! Hes talkative, playful, and loves water from the bathroom sink 😂 🐈🧡
