Exotic Bird Ranch II
is owned by Carmen Cote and Dakota Angthius. Carmen Cote, originally from Texas, moved to Colorado in 2004. She has been actively involved with exotic parrot breeding as well as educating the bird community and working very closely with all species of birds for over 15 years. She is an owner with a 501(C)(3) nonprofit parrot rehabilitation rescue in Fort Collins, The Bird Resc

ue. She also owned a shop in Aurora, CO, The African Grey. Dakota came to Colorado in 2012 from Michigan and has always been passionate about animals. She entered the bird world by falling in love with her Macaw Archie. Ever since, she has dedicated her life to the well-being and education of birds and all avian care. Dakota has fostered and rehabilitated a variety of different birds. She is also very passionate about bird conservation and fighting against deforestation and what has become of many species' natural habitat. Carmen and Dakota are excited to team up to open a brand new shop together and spread the exotic bird love and avian education to Colorado. At the Exotic Bird Ranch II, we hand feed all of our birds because we want owners and our birds to have an interactive experience. It is the healthiest way for the bird and the owner to bond in a proper way. Keeping birds in a cage constantly without being handled will create unhappy birds and unhappy owners. Playing with your birds and giving them the proper socialization is fun for you and your pet. WHAT’S AVAILABLE (We always have new babies and rescues. Some birds may vary):

Hello FB land! We apologize for not posting for a while as we have been very busy! We will also be updating our website in the very near future. We want to say Thank You for your patience and your endless support!

And here is an updated list of new baby birds we are getting in the store!
2 baby White Fronted Amazons 2 baby White Cap Pionus’ 3 White Bellied Caiques 1 Female Eclectus 1 Tropicana Macaw 1 Goffin Cockatoo (Just hatched) - won’t be here for several weeks. 2 Rose Breasted Cockatoos (Just hatched) - won’t be here for several weeks. 2 Alexandrians (Just hatched)- won’t be here for several weeks.

We also have several conures, cockatiels, and parakeets.

We have a couple older macaws and a couple older cockatoos.

Our last African Grey just sold. We will post as soon as we have more!

Our Hyacinths are still in their box and hoping for babies this year.
