Training isn’t about who you are or your strengths and weaknesses. It’s about what you choose to do in those moments when you are feeling stressed out, frustrated, overwhelmed, and impatient. Even if patience isn’t your strong suit, you can still choose to pause, take a breath, try again, or try later 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

Lickmats are such a cool enrichment toy BUT don’t worry if you don’t have one! First of all, what is a Lickmat? It’s a rubber, textured mat that you can smear stuff on and then give to your dog. You can use peanut butter, applesauce, cream cheese, yogurt, wet dog food, canned pumpkin, and even add some kibble and treats for extra crunch! Freeze it so it last longer 🥶 Licking helps your dog to calm down and release stress and anxiety. 💫 HORSES 🐴 Amazing teachers with amazing gifts to share! Learning about love, trust, respect, connection, and friendship has been instrumental in working with horses but also in working with dogs too.Animals have much wisdom to share. But we must be willing to let go of what we think we know and allow them to share their wisdom. Get quiet and listen. It’s amazing what they will share and what you will learn!
