Today is my sweet face boy Eight’s 2nd birthday🖤🤍

Our boy is getting fixed next Thursday. Looking for recommendations you might have. We have always had girls so this is a little different for us. We know not to feed him the morning of surgery and a light feeding if at all the evening after the surgery.
What did you do to keep them entertained without them over doing it. He will be 1 on the 15th.

Here’s our new guy… Pruga, stripe in Croatian! He was rescued from the streets of Tulsa. He was running with a pack of Pit Bulls! Thanks to Tulsa Dal rescue. He’s fitting in with our crew perfectly!

My boy. Absolutely exhausted from the dog park but refuses to leave my side while I’m outside working so I brought his garage bed outside.

Things said to me last night trick-or-treating with my kids.

Kid- oh is that a fire dog?!
Me- yep! He’s also a Dalmatian.
Kid- 🤯

Older kid- is he painted to look like that?
Me- nope. He’s a Dalmatian
Kid- oh. I like his markings

Adult- oh a Dalmatian?! What else is he mixed with with?
Husband- another Dalmatian. 🫣🤣

Today's PSA -Today, two of my dogs were out in the yard playing. We've had a lot of wind the past couple of days and apparently some branches fell out of the tree. The dogs must've been chewing on them. The two were still playing when I took took my 3rd and oldest dog into the house and upstairs. When I came back downstairs, I saw one of my dogs in great distress. She had worn some fur off of her leg and paw and I could see something was wrong with her mouth as she was desperately pawing at it. I couldn't tell if she was choking or exactly what had happened. I quickly put a collar on her so I could grab her and started feeling inside of her mouth and throat. What had happened was a small stick had lodged itself sideways on the roof of her mouth. I took it out and she gave me kisses. She was obviously relieved. This was a freak accident that fortunately turned out OK This is another good reason to keep an eye on your dogs when they're outside playing. It is also good to be able to take things out of your dog's mouth.
