With current weather conditions, MaxFund will be closed until Sunday, November 10th. Rest assured, all essential staff will be present at the shelters to care for our animals as usual! We’re thankful for their dedication ❤️

If you have any clinic appointments, our team will be reaching out for rescheduling shortly.

And, if you can’t get enough of MaxFund, we’re looking for some extra help to shovel snow! ❄️ This is to ensure the facilities continue to be safe for all animals. If interested, please report to Meow Manor on Saturday morning (tomorrow!) 🫡

Hey , that was a BLAST! 🍺🐶

Our pups and peeps had an amazing time getting lots of love and attention at Renegade Brewing (right around the block from our shelter!) ❤️

This fundraiser and mobile adoption event will be recurring, so stay tuned for future dates. ⭐️

⭐️V.I.F. - Very Important Foster Feature!⭐️⬇️

This handsome, gentle, male kitty named S’mores is a staff fave at MaxFund! 🍫

S’mores is a beloved shelter resident who has special needs and is eligible for foster-to-adopt, currently. His progress and second change at life is what makes the MaxFund Mission so special!

Here are some details:

🐱Is 9 yrs young, Chill and affectionate

🐱Is nearly blind and has ataxia: a difficulty with balance and coordination, making it hard for them to walk perfectly well. He’s adorably wobbly!💞

🐱Note there are many ways to help blind cats navigate successfully: different textures, for example, under the water and food bowls and litter box; toys that make a sound. Ensure family members introduce themselves in each interaction not just with touch but their voice.

🐱He would be a great cat for a family w/ children who are gentle, mature and patient

🐱Must be the only animal as has no way to defend himself

🐱Must have Single story home - no stairs

Summer is a 9-month-young German Shepherd and Border Collie mix. She arrived at MaxFund recently, and has been doing a great job adjusting to the shelter environment. ❤️ Summer is a smart cookie! 🍪

Because of her breed and age, she needs a home and furever family who can keep up with her need for energy and exercise! 🧠

This 4-year-old coonhound mix is from Taos, New Mexico, and was brought to MaxFund to receive gold-standard healthcare from a Good Samaritan. ❤️
