Sit, Stay, Home was founded to help keep dogs in their homes by supporting the human-animal bond. One way we do this is by working with local animal shelters to provide free puppy classes to adopters to get them started off on the right foot and create that bond for life. Yesterday, we held our first class of a 6-week puppy program at Denver Animal Shelter. They are offering a Tuesday night class as well! We couldn't be more proud to be a partner in Denver Animal Shelter's great work in the community!

Check Your Chip!

More pets get lost on July 4th than any other time of year and the odds of them being reunited with their owners go from 22% without a microchip to more than 50% with a chip...but a microchip only works if its registration information is accurate!

If your pet is not chipped, get them chipped. If your pet is chipped, make sure your contact information is always up-to-date. If it's not, your pet might as well not have a chip at all.

🐾 As cute as these are, they are actually excellent examples of dogs that have not been properly socialized. How do we know? 🤔 They are fearful 😱 of things that are a part of their daily lives, which is not only preventable but correctable with good socialization techniques. And these owners are not doing their dogs 🐶 any favors by encouraging them to avoid stimuli that makes them uncomfortable. 🙉🙈🙊
