🎃 Happy Halloween from Four Dog Paws! 🎃

We know your dog’s got that killer costume, but here’s how to keep the day from turning into a real horror show:

1. Candy’s for Humans Only – That candy bowl might as well be a nuclear hazard for your pup. Chocolate? Toxic. Xylitol? Instant vet visit. Save yourself the trouble: keep the sweet stash locked up!
2. Costume Check – Sure, you look adorable in that pumpkin suit, but is your dog down with it? Check for stress signs: if the costume’s cutting off circulation or has snackable parts, they’ll be happy to tear it to shreds. 🎃
3. Peace & Quiet Corner – Imagine strangers in costumes ringing your doorbell all night. Yeah, probably not your dog’s idea of fun! Set them up with a cozy hideout and skip the spooky stress.
4. Decorations: AKA Dog Traps – Candles, pumpkins, and enticing wires—who doesn’t love a fire hazard? Keep decor far from the reach of curious jaws, unless you’re into the idea of a very short-lived jack-o’-lantern.
5. Glow-Up for Walkies – Going for a nighttime stroll? Make sure they’re in reflective gear. It’s Halloween, not “Guess Where the Dog Is” season!

We are so happy to be attending the first annual Denver Dog Days at Sloans lake October 13th from 10am-2pm!

There will be over 50 dog businesses to shop from so make sure you come ready to support local business!

For your entertainment there will be a fun dog show with live music so make sure to register your pup and show them off!

A % of proceeds will be benefiting maxfund animal shelter and there will even be dogs available for adoption at the event!
