Dear Friends, Animal Lovers, and Kind-hearted Strangers,
My name is Maisha and I am a devoted single mother with a lifelong passion for helping animals. From the time I was a little girl, I have always felt a special connection to animals and a deep desire to care for them. This passion led me to start grooming dogs in 2010 at PetSmart. While I loved grooming from the very start, I soon realized that the care provided in large pet corporations often fell short of what I believed our furry friends truly deserved.
In 2015, I decided to create something different, something special—a mobile pet grooming service called "Grooming 4 Love." My mission was simple: to provide a safe, loving environment where pets could receive the best grooming care possible, especially those with anxiety or special needs. I envisioned a service that would offer one-on-one attention, free from the chaos and fear often present in traditional grooming salons. I wanted to help pets feel comfortable and loved while also providing convenience for their owners.
My mobile grooming trailer allowed me to bring this vision to life. I was able to offer personalized care to senior pets who needed extra attention, and to anxious pets who benefited from being groomed close to home, without the stress of car rides and long waits in kennels. "Grooming 4 Love" quickly became a beloved service within our community, and I was overjoyed to see the positive impact it had on the lives of so many pets and their families.
Unfortunately, in 2017, my mobile grooming trailer was stolen not once, but twice, and was ultimately never recovered. This devastating loss took a significant toll on my business and my ability to provide the level of care I am so passionate about. Despite the setbacks, I have remained committed to my mission and have continued to groom pets to the best of my ability.
Today, I am reaching out to you for help. I am determined to rebuild "Grooming 4 Love" and once again offer the dedicated, compassionate grooming services that so many pets need. To do this, I need to purchase a new mobile pet grooming van, which costs between $120,000 and $130,000. This van will allow me to bring my services directly to your doorstep, ensuring that pets receive the loving care they deserve in a safe and familiar environment.
