It’s Veterinary Technician appreciation week! Sadly this is the last day of Tech week but we won’t stop appreciating all the hard work our techs put in everyday. Up next in the spotlight is Val! Val started out just picking up a few shifts here and there to help out but now she’s full time. She spends most of her time in the land of surgery. On rare occasions we let her venture out into rooms for appointments. When she’s not in surgery she’s usually working on some odd project around the clinic. Outside of TCAW Val enjoys working on home projects and spending time outdoors with her wife and fuzzy ones. We’re so glad to have such a handy woman on our staff, we really appreciate it. Now, if we could just get those faucet hoses put back on…😉

It’s Veterinary Technician appreciation week! We still have a few more Techs to boast about. Up next is Markie…
She has been with us for 5 years! She’s one of our OGs that keeps us in check. She’s witty, smart and can hold her own in any situation . When she’s not doing arts and crafts on a Certificate of Bravery, Markie is busy decorating her home for her favorite holiday, Halloween! Who has 3, 4’ bat skeletons in her frunk? This girl! She’s so crafty! Thanks Markie for your time and dedication, we really appreciate you!

It’s Veterinary Technician appreciation week! Next up in the spotlight is Andrew! Andrew has been calling TCAW his second home a few years now. He rocks a mean s**g, has a great sense of humor and is probably our most easy going, laid back technician. When he’s not assisting in a 3 hour dental procedure with full mouth extraction, he’s chilling with his main squeeze and fuzzy ones at home. Thanks Andrew for keeping the vibes chill and all your hard work, we appreciate it!

Nikki has been with TCAW for a few years! When she’s not restraining fractious cats (see photo for her mad skills😉), Nikki enjoys sipping on a chia tea latte and hangin’ with her roommate. She brings a sense of poise and rationality to our team. Which is much needed in the chaos that goes on at times. Nikki, thanks for keeping calm and Teching on!

It’s Veterinary Technician appreciation week! We have some awesome Techs and there is so much to share with everyone. Kirsten has been running the show here at TCAW for longer than we can remember. She does so much for us from being a rockstar Technician to keeping all the cats in a row with her mad Office Manager skills. We’re not sure what we would do without her. Thanks for being such an amazing Ring Master of this crazy circus.

It’s Veterinary Technician appreciation week! Kaylee is next in the spotlight. Kaylee has been with us for 5 years! She doesn’t spend nearly enough time with us because she’s so busy with school. Kaylee aspires to be like Dr. Courtney, the best veterinarian! When her nose isn’t in the books, Kaylee likes to make time for golfing or snowboarding. We really do appreciate what little bit of time Kaylee is around. Thanks for all your help, you’ll make a great Veterinarian some day!

It’s Veterinary Technician appreciation week! We have a few in the spotlight today…
Lauryn left us for a bit but now she is back. They always come back. We think she missed all the cuddles with the fuzzy ones! When she’s not cuddling a dog that is recovering from a TPLO surgery, Lauryn likes to spend time on her new hobby, collecting plants. Soon she’ll be a crazy plant lady like Ruth and Val. Lauryn is by far our most helpful technician. She’s always there when you need a helping hand. Thanks Lauryn for always being there for the team!

Ruth has been with TCAW for five years now! When she’s not rocking the PPE to bathe a ringworm covered kitten, she’ rockin’ out to whatever is playing on the radio. She’s our resident dance party enthusiast. No matter the time of day or song, Ruth has a little groove in her step. Thanks, Ruth, for all your hard work and the entertainment! Keep on grooving!

When Scott isn’t expressing your dogs a**l glands, he’s enjoying time with his family or watching the Packers dominate while he sips on an IPA. Poor Ophelia came in yesterday for some skin irritation under chin and on her neck. She was scratching so much after her treatment we put a bonnet on her. Our intern took a photo and had it photoshopped…this is the result of great talent! The owners thought it would be fun to share with the rest of our clients. Enjoy!
