Terumo 20 Gauge Needles are an excellent choice to give subcutaneous injections to your cat. I have given fluids to two cats and assisted friends learning how to give fluids for more than eight years. I have never had an issue with these needles and consider Terumo the preferred choice over the needles your Vet might supply. The Terumo needles glide in smoothly, and my cat remains calm. Terumo needles really do make a difference when you are giving fluids long-term. It was a pleasure to order from Thriving Pets, and my shipment arrived quickly! Just started my cat on it, about a week and besides subcutaneous fluids, I can see him eating more and even playing... that wasn't doing before.
My guy wasn't eating any wet food at all and of course I was concerned how I was going to give it to him...
Saw somewhere on Google, to try tinned tuna... and voila :-) Tinned tuna in water, just a tiny bit, enough to dissolve the powder.

Lg gauge, thin walled, 3/4" super sharp beveled needle make sq fluid faster and far less traumatic than needles or other manufacturer's "butterflies" [which often feel as if they are barbed]. "Wings" make insertion precise and secure.
