He is going to be a great addition to our family. Our rescues are the most loving babies that take care of the scared little ones that come here. They are the fosters for this rescue and they are the best at it.
This is one of our 2024 rescues. He was very unfriendly and really feral when he came here. He hissed and lunged He was about 5/6 months old when he came here. I didn’t cage him. I let him have space and worked with him. He deserved a chance. They are all mean and defensive at first because they are scared. But few rescues will take on this kind of situation. He would have ended up a barn cat. We take on these ones because we are usually their last resort. I can’t add photos too so next post I’ll update the photos of him today.

He’s knows big kitty doesn’t feel good and he is taking care of her. Our rescues are raised with family and love that their personalities are just amazing. I wouldn’t change a thing about my rescue-simply the best ❤️❤️❤️

Upper respiratory infection. It’s so cold out for these little ones. There is no way to survive. She definitely would have died
However we didn’t post a picture and say “we need a foster and sponsor or we can’t take her.” One rescue continues to post pictures of cats that need help but won’t take them until they get money. One post even said “they have been there all summer “.
Is this rescue. ??? And this same rescue has fundraisers posted constantly with many local businesses donating their funds from events held in their name.
I posted one of the posts in the comments since I couldn’t post the video and pictures at same time. I don’t understand “give me money to rescue this cat or I won’t. That’s not what rescue is and people give their money thinking they are helping but it’s highly suspicious

The 4 college degrees on my wall, my travel room from around the world, my wall of achievements and distinguished honors from my USSS Career, my room of bodybuilding trophies and magazine covers and my wall of running medal’s. But nothing compares to this.
I turned 50 this year and the rescue turned 10. I asked for one thing The sign to honor both standby and the work we do. I love my logo and am so proud of it. Yes -it’s a rescue that saves cats based on a dog who competes in fitness based activities and I LOVE it. I could not have designed something more suited to me. It’s amazing and accurate. That is actually the photo of standby yawning (not the body).
I updated the wall with the latest photos of the last rescues and I can’t believe how many have come through here. No we do not have the same numbers as the big rescues. But if you noticed a lot of our rescues are ear tipped I was their only hope before being returned outside. Every one of those cats were refused by other rescues because they were semi feral. They needed extra help
Yes I have scars from some and many harsh moments I have been bit and even some flesh went missing. Sometimes I thought I would fail and have to return some outside but I never gave up. In the end ,sometimes it took days , some weeks, and some months. But all ended up as the best family members and lovable. Most knew they were saved And each one found THEIR perfect family. I loved each and everyone as my own Each one has a piece of my heart and I will always be there for them. We are always family here.
One thing about this house is there are no cages I don’t care how feral you are -still don’t deserve a cage. Your life is worth more than that to me. And I will move heaven and earth to save one

Wall update
First shipment of our cyber Monday purchase. Time to update our rescue wall. Have to redo the upper portion of the wall to be able to include more rescues and to install our new logo sign.
