Resharing as we have had multiple “no shows” and less than 24hrs cancellations recently.

POLICY REMINDERS:

🚫Cancellation policy: there is a fee of $15 added to any appointments cancelled with less than 24hrs notice. In the instance of a "no show", the fee is 50% of your total groom cost.

While we only charge for 24hrs or less, we do ask for the courtesy of more notice if you know in advance you are not keeping your appointment. This allows us to have a chance to fill it. Please remember, this policy exists for the simple fact that if we can't fill the spot we held for your dog, we don't get paid. It's not to be a pain in the butt, it's so we can pay our bills too.

🕜Pickup policy: all clients are given an estimated pickup time at drop off. We confirm the proper number to call and will call 15 min prior to completion of the appointment. Dogs are to be picked up within 30 minutes of this call. Any dogs not picked up within that window will incur a $25 late pickup fee.

Please remember this policy also exits not to be a pain in the butt, but because on several occasions, we've been forced to miss or be late for our own personal appointments because people waited hours to come get their dogs. On a personal note, in one instance, I was unable to get to school to pick-up my daughter in time and that is absolutely not ok. We also don't like keeping your dog waiting in a crate to go home as we do all appointments straight through.

🐩Demat policy: we are a humanity over vanity salon. We will never, under any circumstance, put a dog through painful dematting to keep it fluffy. Any dog that cannot be brushed/combed out will be shaved. We are happy to show you how to properly maintain your dogs coat at home to avoid shaving.

😷Sick dog policy: any dog showing signs of illness at drop off will not be groomed. Any dog showing signs of illness during the appointment must be immediately picked up.

Please be sure your dog is always wearing a well fitted collar, especially over the next week. If you don't have tags, or tag info is too tough to read, use tape and a sharpie.
More pets go missing over 4th of July than any other time of year. Also be sure that if your dog is chipped, your contact info is up to date with the chip company.
If your dog needs meds, call your vet now, not next week.
