💌 **Spread the Love at Golden Paws!** 💌

This is the last week for our **Doggy Valentine Table** in our lobby! 🐾 Each dog will have their own bag with their name on it, and you can drop valentines or treats in the bags from your pup to their daycare friends. It’s the perfect way to share a little love this Valentine’s season!

Here’s how it works:
🦴 Stop by the table anytime between **February 3rd and February 13th**.
🐕 Drop off valentines or treats in the bags of your dog’s friends. (There will be approximately 100 dog bags if you’d like to include everyone, but we also will have matching stickers on bags indicating which dogs are friends with your dog so you can just count those.)
🎁 Take your dog’s valentines out of their bag whenever you’re here. But please, leave the bag.

It’s a fun and sweet way to celebrate friendship and brighten everyone’s day! We can’t wait to see all the adorable valentines from your furry family members. ❤️

**Remembering Blake**

We received some heartbreaking news today about the passing of one of our longtime clients, Blake (pictured to the right). Blake was a regular part of Golden Paws daycare from the very beginning until his family relocated to Florida in late 2021. He was truly one of a kind, and we loved him dearly.

Blake had a sweet personality, but he was also fiercely independent—things had to be done *his* way, and we respected that about him. His intelligence and quick wit made him stand out, and he had a way of forming friendships with every dog he met. He absolutely loved daycare, and if your dog attended Golden Paws between 2014 and 2021, there’s a good chance they were one of Blake’s best friends.

Blake was blessed with the most wonderful parents, who did everything they could to take care of him, especially in this past month when his health took a sudden and unexpected turn for the worse. His loss is devastating, and our hearts go out to his family and his two brothers.

Rest easy, Blake. You will always be a part of the Golden Paws family. 🥹

(Blake’s mom reminded me today of this photo we took of him at daycare years back during a Valentine Pawty we had. Here he is with one of his girlfriends, Nieve, who has also since crossed the rainbow bridge. 🌈 Blake’s mom said “he is with his love” because now he is reunited with Nieve)

I saw this today, and know that many of your dogs are microchipped. This is worth calling the place who did your dogs microchipping to see if your pet has a “save this life” brand chip, and if so, then make sure you take immediate action to register that chip with a NEW company.
