T-Minus 1 week until Mater goes off with to get more retriever work experience!

Hunting, bird dogs, retriever work is a field I have never been able to experience until now and I will get all the help I can get to make sure Mater, Bonnie, and myself are successful and get the proper training to thrive in this field.

I am super excited to see how he does and to continue his work after returning home!

He’s fond of all the females. Once males hit an adolescent stage into adulthood, he becomes too dominant and stays separate from them for safety. He has been taught to be neutral with any living being, but that is something that will never dissipate.

I wonder what Russell’s dreaming about over there 😴

We raise and teach our dogs to be versatile to different lifestyles. They learn both home life and kennel life. That way when we travel, they understand the routine and have no problem adapting to a new environment. A common mistake that dog owners make is not teaching dogs to adapt to change. This is something that should really be utilized more often in every dogs life!

Happy 2nd Birthday to Lilo, Stitch, and Myrtle! 🥳 Stitch was paired with an autistic young boy as his emotional support dog and both have been thriving since! Lilo was placed with a colleague and comes to work everyday! And Miss Myrtle has been chosen to stay behind and join our breeding program!

Freya is officially in heat! She has been super extra hormonal and clingy the past few days. We have decided to breed her to Atlas this time than waiting for Spring. We will be expecting blacks and chocolates! We’ll post here for updates 🖤🤎

You know it’s a lab when everything is edible, including the phone 😂

Our newest addition Mater has landed on US soil and has officially joined our pack! This guy came out of the plane with a boat load of confidence and excitement! Nothing during his travel journey has phased this little dude. Mater already shows a lot of potential to get him in a variety of sports as well as the show ring! We are super excited for this puppy and what he will bring into our future breeding programs!

There’s nothing else to describe Atlas than “Goofy and Derpy” 😂

Just a little update on your newcomer! He just traveled from Ukraine to Poland and he will be on the first flight to Boston on Tuesday! They said he’s handling the travel like a champ! We can’t wait to meet him soon!

We are a huge advocate for dog fitness! We love the lab breed, but we don’t believe they should be overweight or obese. Our labs go through treadmill sessions as a substitute from outdoor activity restriction due to inclement weather. Some of our dogs also compete in sports, so keeping them in shape is a must!
