Everyone meet Gator!
He is currently in training with me for the next 30 days, his owner entrusted me to help Gator get through a lot of his fears and build some confidence in himself and people. Gator also has some spice to him so we are gonna work on improving communication between him and whoever is working with him. Stay tuned to see his progress!'
Not only does training horses make me happy but also watching my students grow and learn! This pair has been together for a little while not and have had many ups and downs and recently this year they are both clicking! I couldn’t be prouder of how these guys are progressing:)
Also I am amazed at what some massage work and shoes can do for Rembrandt! He is moving so much better lately and a good part of it is thanks from both Affinity Equine Bodywork and our Farrier Tom! Thank you guys so much for helping Rembrandt to feel the best he can:)
I love watching my students grow and seeing them thrive. Ruth here has been taking lessons with me for about 2 years now and can walk, trot and has started cantering. She leases Rembrandt and works hard at her goals, and even goes to a couple shows to compete. I love watching Ruth build confidence through Hoofprints ❤️
Kelly Sellevaag you have an amazing daughter
Did you know horses can get massages just like us? Rembrandt gets a massage session done once a month by Affinity Equine Bodywork to aid in his performance and physical health. Did you see how remi yawns a lot during his session? Well when he yawns that him feeling tension leave his body and his muscles being relaxed.
Rembrandt struggles with his back legs being cow hawked so it can cause him to build tension in his hips and glutes, this releases the tension and allows for better movement.

Unbridled Blessings Drill fun overlook! LETS GO GIRLS
This is from Betty’s last massage!
She was far more relaxed, and then in the previous one, and was able to further enjoy Affinity Equine Bodywork as she helps her to continue to enjoy people, and all they have to offer. This helps with keeping Betty from getting too stiff and tight in certain areas in her body as she is learning new things.

Thanks to our amazing Donors! Because of you guys Betty gets to experience many amazing things, one of the amazing things is messages done by Claire! Affinity Equine Bodywork
The massages have aided Betty learning how to relax and enjoy human touch as well as learning to relax and enjoy just standing.
I am behind on posting so this video is from her December session and I’ll be posting her January session later this week! In December Betty struggled to sit still and was very apprehensive to Claire but was much better this month which y’all will see later.

Betty and I about two weeks ago went to an indoor arena during all the rain! it took 1 hour and 45 minutes to load her in the trailer but we were patient and took our time and loading her on the way back took 3 minutes!
At the indoor arena, she was distracted by many other horses, sites and smells as well as sounds so we did a lot of groundwork and just relaxing. We plan to have more adventures to other Arenas to be able to do more work, but this one was more about relaxing just getting her out and about !
Thank you to those who have donated to Betty and I, your support helps pay for our travel and arena use fees and makes all of this possible!
If you’re still thinking about donating or wish to donate toward more adventures for Betty you can visit Rocky’s Horse Rescue website http://www.Rockyshorserescue.org
and in the description put Betty so they know who it’s for !
