Our sitters leave a detailed report of their time spent in your home through this system. Reports include GPS and time tracking, capturing the route of each dog walk (when applicable) as well as pictures, videos and much more. Our clients are able to chat back and forth with us easily through the accompanying app. We offer Dog Walking, Drop in Visits, Pet Nanny Care and Travel Care between the hours of 7AM and 10PM. "Hi, I'm Emily! I joined Auntie Abby’s in June of 2024 after learning about the job through my sister, Amanda, who is also a sitter on Abby’s team. I am loving every minute of the job! I am local to the area and grew up in Waukee. I attended Drake University and have worked for a variety of non-profits, including the ARL. My family owns a local preschool and childcare center, Kids Company, where I also work. Children and animals of any kind are my true passion and love! I own several pets: a Brussels Griffon, Gilly; a Shih Tzu named Tiki; and Bentley, my domestic long hair cat. We are quite a happy family! I have experience medicating pets, walking a variety of breeds of dogs, and I am well versed in cat care. I am detail oriented and I do everything with lots of heart. I am available for regularly scheduled dog walks and pet visits and also very much enjoy tending to your house and pets while you are away on vacation. I can’t wait to get to know you and your little ones and begin a relationship that can grow with each and every visit! If you are looking for someone who couldn’t love animals more – I am your girl!”

"Hi, my name is Jenna! I joined the Auntie Abby’s team in March of 2024. Animals have always held a special place in my heart and are a big part of who I am as a person. Growing up, I was surrounded by many family pets and also volunteered at the Animal Rescue League. I developed a deep bond and understanding of each individual animal’s needs. Currently, I’m a proud pet parent of a Dachshund named Benzi, a Labrador named Oakley, and a cat named Fiji! I have first-hand experience caring for special needs animals including my Dachshund who battles IVDD. Caring for him and animals with special needs has equipped me with the skills necessary to provide specialized care including administering medications and injections, and accommodating unique requirements. When I am not pet-sitting or cuddling with my pets, you can find me working part-time at the medical examiner’s office as an autopsy technician! I’m available for dog walking, drop-in visits and travel care. Every pet in my care is treated with genuine love, respect and empathy, as if they were my own. I look forward to creating bonds with your pets while you are away!”

“Hi! I am Heather. I joined Auntie Abby’s in April 2024. I am an Urbandale/ Waukee resident, southern born, mom to 2, wife, and cat mom to 2 adorable felines. Our cherished golden retriever passed recently. I have had a variety of jobs including nanny, teacher, counselor, flight attendant, and now pet sitter. I understand the responsibility of pet ownership and the importance of pets as family members. Communication, organization, and extreme attention to detail are my strengths. I am fortunate to be part of an amazing team! I offer dog walks, drop in visits, pet nannying, and almost overnights.”
