*Beginning Monday August 5th!*

Drop off times will be between 7-8:30 and 10:30-11:30.
There will be no drop offs outside of those times.
If you are scheduled during the latter time and need to drop off early you will need to drop off before 8:30.

Dogs will be serviced on a first come first serve basis. If you need to pick up at a certain time I highly recommend being here as early as possible.

Pick up will be from 11:30-3:30.

I have tried to reach out to all that are affected by the drop off/pick up times as well as let people know at pickup during their previous appointment.

We have had a recent change to staffing; we only have one groomer and assistant, therefore response times will be significantly slower as we work to take care of the dogs on the schedules first. At this time we are not accepting new clients and any applications will go to a wait list. Thank you!

Let me brag on our groomer Zoey! She finished grooming school at DMACC in July of this year and just finished her first holiday rush and to say we are proud is an understatement. Every dog she does she takes her time on, asks questions and finesses and you can see the growth she has had in a short 5 months. Keep growing Zoey!

Last dog groomed of 2024 and the biggest transformation! Roman was handscissored start to finish and had A LOT of coat- Tayler’s second time doing a Scandanavian Trim (the 1st was the day before 😂) We love poodles 🐩 and we love learning and growing! Here’s to much more of that for all of us of Dirty Dog in 2024!

A few updates:

We have had a recent change in staffing, at this time we are unable to take any new clients.

You may experience slightly longer groom times with the holidays and the staffing change.

We are starting to book appointments for next year, we will be requiring booking for the entire year (we know changes will need to be made and that’s okay) in order to solidify your spot at our salon. We are also only doing a frequency of 1, 2, 4, or 8 weeks to be able to accommodate the maximum number of clients.

We will reach out to you to begin the scheduling process as we are doing it in the order of frequency.

As some of you know Tayler has taken a coaching job at her alma mater, Roosevelt High School. Volleyball is such a huge passion for her and we are so grateful that she can continue to do something that she loves. That being said, her schedule will be adjusting going forward.

**Tayler's schedule is Monday-Friday 7am to 2:30pm with her last appointment starting at 11. Tayler's clients MUST BE on a schedule of 8 weeks of less.**

We are beginning to work on schedules for 2024
If you had to choose from being on a schedule which frequency would you choose:
Option A: Every 1, 3 or 6 weeks
Option B: Every 1, 2, 4 or 8 weeks
This is not set yet, we are just putting out feelers to try and make scheduling as easy and consistent as possible.

Have you met “Rou”? She is at the shop almost daily with her mom, Robin while she works. Rou is a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier and is being shown in confirmation and soon obedience with her mom. Robin and Rou did a 4 week class on in the ring training and her and her mommy got “Best in Show” last night in the fun match!
Let’s congratulate them!

Gracie’s mom came in wanting her shaved down for the summer as she has had done before; but after an through educational discussion with Justice Braunschweig she was able to explain to her the benefit of carding, a good deshed, and a tidying of the outline we were able to preserve the natural color and texture of her coat long term as well as keep her cool for the summer.
