The Importance Of A Home Exercise Program

When Milli first came in to see us, she was unable to walk or eliminate on her own. Over the last few weeks, we have seen Milli in clinic for acupuncture and laser. Along with the help of her dedicated pet owners who have been working hard on her home exercise program, we have seen great improvements with Milli's rehabilitation!

My dear clients and friends,

I am writing to tell you of my upcoming departure from Ingersoll Animal Hospital on December 15, 2024. I will continue to see patients in the rehabilitation part of our practice, Pawsitive Strides Veterinary Rehabilitation, for a time as I move into semi-retirement.

Over the last 43 years, you and your incredible four-legged family members have given me the honor of being a part of your family through all the wonderful times and the challenging, emotional ones as well. For many, I have traveled with you for several generations from fuzzy puppies and kittens to senior pets and beyond. Thank you for trusting me to care for these animals that enrich our lives so much.

Some will say they want to be a veterinarian because they love animals, not people. Those individuals miss out on wonderful relationships with you, the clients. I have always said that I love what I do. It’s not just taking care of the pets but getting to know you that fulfills my life and love of veterinary medicine.

I am leaving you in the caring and experienced hands of Dr. Grace Steenhagen, Dr. Kimberly Kendall, Dr. Jake Hunerdosse, and Dr. Michealina Leithead. I know the doctors and the wonderful staff will move Ingersoll Animal Hospital forward into the future, continuing to partner with you in keeping your four-legged companions happy and healthy for as many years as possible.

My career as a veterinarian has been especially rewarding and for that you have my heartfelt thanks!
