Meet Mowgli, a 7 year old Rat Terrier. His mama, Kelsie, says he loves warm blankets and treats. Mowgli is not a fan of fireworks, cold weather, and toenail trims🍦
His family calls this Libra guy all kinds of nicknames including Bug and Mowgli Powgli Wowgli.

Meet Peaches, the first Staff Pet of the Week. She is 17 years old and enjoys sunbathing in her free time. Her owner, Brittney, has given her several nicknames, including Baked Bean, used when she is sunbathing, and her fur is warm with sunlight ☀️

The Staff Pet of the Week board is located above the floor scale in the lobby area. Be sure to check it out the next time you’re in for a visit! 💕

⏰ Reminder that our Operation Santa Paws collection window is ending soon!! 🎁

To honor Food Drive for Needy Animals Day we are collecting unopened bags or cans of dog, cat, puppy, and kitten food until January 31st. All donations will be gifted to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa 💌

Keep an eye out for our follow up post to see if you can guess how many pounds of food was collected and win a prize!
