Clint recently spent the day with Heartland Humane society in Ottumwa educating their staff about dog body language and stress signals and some basic training. He also did behavioral assessment’s of some of the long term dogs at the rescue and talked about better practices of introducing shelter dogs to possible adopters. If you work at a rescue or shelter or know of one that could use consulting help from Clint, please reach out for details on this service.

WOW!!! Thanks to all who donated! 🎄

🐾❤️FINAL PET FOOD DRIVE WEIGHT❤️🐾

We are absolutely blown away by the generosity of our community. Thanks to all of you, we officially wrapped up our Pet Food Drive with OVER 800 POUNDS of pet food and supplies donated, plus $100 in monetary donations. Truly incredible.

We want to give a huge, heartfelt thank you to the partners who helped make this possible:

Invisible Fence & Knox Canine Training for supporting the drive and helping secure an additional 100 lbs of food!
Trupanion for their generous $50 donation!
Hill’s Pet Nutrition for an amazing 350 lbs of pet food!!

And of course, thank you to every single person in our Polk City community who dropped off food, supplies, or donations. Because of you, pets in our community will have full bellies and care when they need it most, especially during the holidays.

You all set the bar high this year… so much so that 800 lbs is officially our goal for next year. We can’t wait to do it all again and see how far we can take it together. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for showing up for pets in need. 🐶🐱💙

We are once again collecting donations for the ASVC Pet food drive supporting
We have a box in our lobby available for drop off donations, anything helps!!
Items needed are :
*canned/dry dog or cat food
*dog or cat treats
*kitty litter
*puppy pads
*quart or gallon ziplock bags
We are available most evenings 6-8:30 during our group classes for drop offs.
