Ear Mites!!

We found some ear mites today in one of our patients! What are ear mites? Teeny, tiny infectious organisms that can look like ticks, that can be seen under the microscope. Pets can get ear mites when they have physical contact with a furry friend who already has them. Ear mites can cause ear infections and skin disease, but can be treated with a topical ear medication.
