This 2-year-old Retriever has a personality as bright as his gorgeous light brown and white coat! Weighing in at a sturdy 80 pounds, this sweet boy has soulful brown eyes, a playful “laughing” smile, and a long, waggly tail tipped in white that’s always on the move.

Whether it’s fetching a ball, sniffing out new scents, or just running around the yard with pure joy, Oso’s zest for life is contagious. More than just a playful buddy, Oso is a sweet and loyal companion who can’t wait to share his love and affection.

He’s looking for a family that will appreciate his loving heart and his eagerness to bond. If you’re ready for a big-hearted friend who’ll make you smile every day, Oso could be the perfect addition to your home. Get ready for lots of laughs, love and tail wags!

Oso has been neutered, microchipped and is up to date on all his vaccinations. He is housed at the Russell E. Dealey Animal Rescue Center, so you’ll need an appointment to meet him. To do that, just find his profile at spca.org/dogs and click on that make an appointment button. Oso’s team will take it from there.

Animals are available for adoption at both the SPCA of Texas Dallas Animal Care Center (2400 Lone Star Drive) and the Ellis County Animal Care Center (2570 FM Road 878 in Waxahachie, Texas).

Through November 30th, it’s “Name Your Price” for all adoption fees! On Monday, November 11th—Veterans Day—all veterans and active duty personnel can adopt a pet for free!
