Love and Care While You’re Not There!
The first dog I met was my grandmother’s Golden Retriever, Jessie. I was always drawn to animals but this was the first dog I bonded with up close. We became fast friends and as I grew I was able to teach him new tricks, take him for walks and play fetch with him in our backyard. Caring for Jessie sparked something in me that would later grow into a full-fledged passion. I then went on to adopt my own puppy, a Bichon Frise named Jazz, and was able to train him from the beginning. Going out of town was always really difficult for me as I hated leaving Jazz in the kennel with too many other barking dogs. There weren’t many pet-sitting options in my area at the time. This gave me great insight into what my clients experience when they seek out the best care options for their own pups. I want to be that dependable person they can call to take the worry out of leaving their fur babies behind.
My friends and family call me the dog whisperer and it’s true that I am able to calm even the most nervous of pups! I am passionate about my work and do it with a gentle and kind demeanor that is unmatched. I believe pet sitters need to have a passion for the animals they serve, otherwise the dogs suffer. Animals pick up on our energy and the last thing they need is to feel uncomfortable in the presence of the person who is supposed to make sure they are healthy, happy and secure while their owners are away. I have a lot of experience working with dogs of all different temperaments, breeds and sizes. Caring for older dogs can be tricky and I have a lot of experience in this area, as well as sick dogs, hyper dogs, calm dogs, puppies and everything in between. In short, I work hard to get to know your dog’s individual needs and will specifically cater to those needs. I prefer an open communication style and make sure my clients know they can get ahold of me when they need to. This ensures both parties feel satisfied and know what is to be expected. Pet-sitting is my passion and I work hard to make sure my business runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
