On June 18, 1964, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was arrested and placed in a police car in St. Augustine, Florida. A German Shepherd police dog was placed in the car with him in an attempt to intimidate Dr. King. However, instead of feeling intimidated, Dr. King and the canine quickly became friends. 🐶💙 👨🏾

Today, we commemorate and honor the life of Dr. Martin Luther King! He pioneered the way for the world we live in today, where people of all races walk hand-in-hand, breaking down the barriers that once divided us. At Pawfé, we take pride in continuing the legacy of unconditional love and unity that MLK began.
