It's National Vet Tech Appreciation Week, a time to recognize and celebrate our staff! Big shout out to our Licensed Veterinary Technicians, Sarah and Clarice! This week the staff got coffee, breakfast sandwiches and a delicious French toast casserole from our neighbors at The Roost Detroit, lunch from Armandos Mexican Restaurant, and today we had a movie matinee in the lunchroom with popcorn and watched Keanu, because it's about a cat so Patrick wanted to see it! Help us say thank you to our fantastic crew! We really couldn't do it without them. 🐾 💗

Wondering what to do with your pet's unused or expired medicine, or your own? We get asked this question a lot. We actually do not take medications for disposal or donation purposes. Most pharmacies will dispose of your meds, as well as the Henry Ford Hospital pharmacy and the John Dingell VA Med Center. Some animal rescue organizations will take medications as donations, but only if they have a veterinarian on staff, so check with each organization. Check out this video for more info!
