On National Cat Day, we want to celebrate Morgan and his incredible story! Morgan was a 5-week-old colony kitten living in a garage. He was unfortunately backed over by a car and sustained extensive injuries to his left rear leg. The driver rushed him to Michigan Humane, where he was cared for by neonatal fosters until his leg could be amputated.

Morgan’s medical care costs were covered, and we were able to give him the care he desperately needed thanks to the Mightycats grant gifted to us by our partner Orphan Kitten Club. Morgan was adopted at our 35th annual Purrfect Bow Wow Brunch and is now safe and loved in a forever home. Thank you, Orphan Kitten Club, for helping us change the lives of cats like Morgan.

Dora is a sweet and shy puppy that was found as a stray along with her siblings Skylar and Raya. Dora’s sisters were adopted one week before her, and Dora was adopted last week along with 171 other animals from Michigan Humane! Dora’s adoption fees were waived thanks to our awesome adoption partner the Mike Morse Law Firm. Congratulations to these puppies and their new families! ❤️

Previous untreated injuries left Bella struggling to use her back leg. After undergoing double hip surgery and spending three months healing in our care, she found her forever family.
