About Us
I grew up on Stock Landing Road as the first girl born into a family of hunters. One of my earliest memories was riding a horse with my great grandfather to Catahoula Lake to hunt ducks. If the men in the family were hunting, whether ducks or deer, I was right in there with them. I did not develop a love for these sports; I inherited it.
But that's not all, I inherited a love for the dogs that we used to retrieve the ducks and track the wounded deer. And, as a child, I made sure the dogs were dry and warm before I was.
My love for sporting dogs and the scenes of my childhood has only grown stronger over the years.
Today, I live off Stock Landing Road on a bluff overlooking beautiful Catahoula Lake. There I own and operate Labrador Retrievers by Catahoula Duck Club.
