Introduction to the place board for Chewy
Chewy is learning the down command
Chewy is a new addition to the Quality K9 Family. She is a 5 months old female Boxer, who needs to learn all of the basics, manners, and impulse control. She is a fun girl to work with. Here is a short video clip of her learning the heel command.
Charlie says "I am retired but I still remember my commands."
Ava is starting to make progress. Learning all the basics as well as going to the place. It took a bit of time for her to trust us and to become a bit more self-confident, but we are on our way now. Sometimes what seems like nothing much is a huge milestone. 😊

Correct positioning and creating joy for the work is so very important. No one, and that includes our canine friends, wants to work for free. Therefore, a reward (whether it is a toy or food) must be available when the dog shows the correct behavior.
