My hubby is awesome! I have not had my truck for the last 2 weeks; but they say it will be fixed next week. So we figured out what size of Ryder truck to rent; he made reservations for this weekend. He is going to build some shelving and pickup the truck Friday morning. I will have a lot of perennials, cut flowers and herbs. This would not happen if he was still working.

I will not be at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market tomorrow. My ignition switch died on Monday. They found a steering column for my 1995 Chevy truck. Unfortunately, it is not done.

The season begins; perennials have been delivered. This will take me at least a week to transplant all these.

Just to show we are not on vacation in the winter months. Washing dahlias; getting them ready for storage. It was cold that day. I got soaking wet and dirty.

The perennial greenhouse is ready for spring. New plastic and new floor. Flower beds are mulched, winter rye planted; just in time for the weather to get cold.

My new toy! I am planting winter rye as my cover crop and this made it easy to plant. I used to use a hand crank seeder. Saved me a lot of time.

Truck is loaded. Last of the lisianthus and sunflowers. Tons of cilantro and tender dill. This is my last week at the market.

Truck is loaded. This the week of mums. Last of the Lisianthus. Tender dill and cilantro. Flowers are starting to p**p out, but I have some amazing Dahlia's. Market is at it's peak.

So...it is been so freaking hot. I will load the peonies at 4:00 am; because they are in the cooler. I wish I could come later, but we have bully vendor that brings way to much to the market and dominates the market.

Truck is loaded for tomorrow. Beautiful weather; super busy weekend. I will be at the market, come home and unload the truck. Then reload the truck for Flower Day on Sunday. Next week peonies.
