-Decreasing healing time from wounds/injuries -Increasing blood flow
- Oseteoarthritis/Joint conditions
-Improving inflammation, swelling/edema, pain, & more!

This unit also comes with other attachments to aid in acupuncture!
From those needle shy patients to young foals to help prevent needle shyness.

So let’s talk a bit about saddle fitting and why it’s so important for you and your horse!

🆘First let’s go over some signs that your saddle is not the right fit for your horse:
-Sores over back/withers
-Biting or ill behavior upon cinching or saddling
- Reluctance to move forward or perform task under saddle
- … and many more!

❓How can we determine if it is the saddle or a true medical issue?
Saddle fit session!
These range in price depending on how many horses, how many saddles, and/or if we do a complete saddle fit which is 2-3 saddles at stand still and while under saddle.

‼️Why is this so important?
Because a saddle is in place to disperse your weight evenly accross the horses back to be able to perform a task with minimal insult to the horse. Repeated insult from an ill fitting saddle can cause muscle atrophy, nerve damage, scar tissue, or even worse conditions!

This is a perplexing topic with so many variables! It’s hard to cover it all in one post and sometimes even one session!

🐖Lunch Time Case Review🐖 This show pig exhibited an acute injury and non weight-bearing on his hind leg, unsure of initial injury or trauma. After 3 acupuncture and chiropractic sessions we have got him weight bearing again. Back in time to show!

Clinical Case Time! 🐕 Pepper presented for an acute spinal cord injury less than a month ago and was nonambulatory (can’t walk) and in lateral recumbency (on her side) in pain. Through strict cage rest and daily to now weekly acupuncture sessions we are no longer ataxic (wobbly/unstable) and are walking without issues! We are not done with her treatments and still have a ways to go before we are pain free and able to return to normal activities but we are very happy with progress she’s made so far!
