What a difference a day makes.
Had we not been checking on this baby, in less than 24 hours after her birth she would not have made it. This is why if one purchases a goat from us, you must be active in their care daily. If you can not, you will need to look elsewhere. Nubians are milk goats, not meat goats. Our Nubians are from a strong blood line with papers.

So here are our newbies born yesterday. The little girl on the left is struggling a bit. She’s needing hand fed today. She’s very weak. Big brother is strong enough for the both of em. This can be common if a baby goat doesn’t get that first colostrum from mom. One of Moms t***s are clogged from that dog attack on her sack. Papaw took the mama to the vet this morning for a shot and a looksy by Spencer’s Veterinarian service in Gilmer. Hoping for the best for our mama goat and babies.
