We have an AMAZING update about the cat we named Lasagna that came in a couple nights ago… we found his mom! 🥰 Lasagna’s real name is Nicholas and he was missing for 3 weeks!
Nicholas is now home, resting, healing, and getting all the love he can soak up! His family is so happy to have him back home, and as much as we miss him already, we couldn’t have asked for a better outcome for this sweet boy.
Nicholas has always had a missing eye, it does not affect him at all. His leg wound is still in the healing process, but he will make a full recovery in the comfort of his home ❤️🥹

Turner!
Update!!! K9 Health Center is going to help Turner! With 18 years of experience in getting pups just like Turner up on their feet. We are so excited for this journey with him! He will be transported to them for therapy twice a week until we build him up💪. No wheelchair needed! Stay tuned for updates!!
This sweet pup is Turner, a 4 month pup with a lot of determination and a little pep in his step. He came into our shelter 9 days ago and we immediately saw he was very wobbly and couldn’t walk properly. We don’t know much about his past or how long he has been like this. ☹️
We took him to the vet and they said it could be possibly caused by him getting into some type of poison. We started trying to flush the toxins out with fluids but it did not work as much as we had hoped. His walking slightly improved, but not much. Turner’s X-rays and blood work came back clear of no physical issues. But unfortunately since this issue wasn’t treated sooner, it caused some neurological issues affecting the way he walks.
Turner tries his hardest to keep up with everyone, even though he’s a little wonky when he walks/runs.
We tried to use a dog wheel chair for him, but we only have wheelchairs with two back wheels. While using the wheelchair, he falls down once his legs are tired but the wheelchair is too heavy for him to get back up on his own right now. We are going to try and find a wheel chair with 4 wheels for him.

Reba Learning Cat Etiquette
Sometimes in life, you have to learn the hard way. Rebas approach wasn't the best according to Joey (kitty). Joey decided to teach her better etiquette in cat language. 😆Reba was surprised by this lesson but took it in stride and has been polite to Joey ever since.

We need wet cat food!
We currently have 67 cats at the shelter and each cat gets wet food in the morning, every day! We have about 15 cans of wet food right now, which won’t feed all the cats tomorrow morning.
They do have dry kibble out every day, but they sure do love their morning wet food!
If you have any extra cans of wet food laying around, our cats would really appreciate it! ❤️
