Latest rescue: Iceman is safe! Still searching for a northern rescue partner to get him to Pennsylvania but he’s safe from the Houston freeze for now. Thank you so much to all who donated, shared and helped 🙏🐕💛

My current fosters—Casper and Pearl. I rescued them from a dangerous parking lot on the corner of I10 where they had been living for months. They’re two of the many strays I feed regularly near my job. When I saw that Pearl had an injured paw, and was pregnant! I advocated for them and thankfully Cedar Balket Pitbull rescue in Iowa offered to back not only her but her baby daddy also!

Alcide, named for his dark, smoldering looks like the werewolf in True Blood. I saved him in the nick of time as the all pack he affectionately guarded was ruthlessly poisoned. If anyone would like to donate to his care, stars, dogfood, ppal, etc, it would much appreciated 🙏🐕💛
