Wynton's Adoption! (Or should we say Yukon's Adoption?)

Meet Samantha and Gregory who, along with their daughters have adopted little Wynton... and renamed him to Yukon (after the potatoes!). They met and fell instantly in love with our buddy Wynton. As the completed their paperwork and walked out of the adoption center, Wynton looked back at us and winked. Really. :)

Jagger begins his 2 day road-trip to a better life in South Florida today! Thank you so much to everyone who helped us. 15 volunteers along the gulf coast are coming together to donate a few hrs of transportation to get him to his new home. Working in rescue in Texas often tests and chips away at my faith in humanity, but today restores it 🙏💛🐕

Jagger update-9 days later: He’s gaining weight well! Now we’re working on muscles by stair climbing and running laps with the big dogs. He’s crate trained, 80% potty trained, working on leash training and “sit” still. Very affectionate and does great with my 2 big dogs. UTD on vaccines and will be neutered soon. In Houston but transport available. Please share and lmk if you have any questions!

I think Jagger may be a future model in the making! He’s doing great! A big ol Romeo! Should be ready for his forever home in a few weeks. He’s already learning his name and potty training. Super smart and eager to please! $250 rehoming fee includes vaccines, clean bill of health and neutering. Transport may be available. Don’t hesitate to ask if you have a fly questions.

Giacomo (Jagger) Pendola was skin and bones,taking refuge in a small ditch near the Mex border so other dogs wouldn’t beat him. But now he’s safe with me and putting that life behind him with a nice restful sleep,full tummy and all the love he deserves. He holds no grudges. This gentle lover will be ready for some lucky family soon. Feel free to ask me anything or plan a visit.Don’t say I didn’t warn you of his if bad boy name and Sinatra eyes. Futile to resist, really 💛🐕💛

Hi friends, if all goes well at his vet check up, Jagger (I named him) will be transported to Gio’s House of Curs where I can fatten, heal and teach him a few basic commands and politeness. He’s very sweet and gentle as most bmc breeds are and was found hiding in a small ditch bc the other dogs were beating him up for his food. Please reach out with any questions!
