Dakota Sky Rip is pretty proud of his haul of ND quackers! Rip and his family the Lade's call WI home but this was his second trip out to ND this season. First was chasing upland birds with us here at Dakota Sky Pudelpointers for a few days. Rip says you need to move here.

Born 7/11, healthy, extremely social and ready to go. Maggie/Rook pups. Maggie is 112 prize 1 NA and a granddaughter of Rock Creek Edmund Fitzgerald. Rook was a 112 Prize 1 NA and a prize 1 UT. We imported Rook (Art Z Chytalskeho Udoli) from the Czech Republic as a pup and he has NEVER had a bad day! Both hip tested, fabulous in the field and home, and are definitely dogs that want to please.

Good morning from Dakota Sky. We have been a little slow returning calls and messages, and this next week may be the same. Not only have we been fighting 100 degree temperatures, but Glen's dad passed away yesterday. He has spent the last several months overseeing moving both of his parents to nursing homes and dealing with everything that goes with it. Every call, message, text, and email is important and will not go unanswered.

The weather has passed. We are all ok.
8 6 week old pups
2 8 week old pups
6 training dogs
18 personal dogs, including an expecting mamma
1 13 tear old cow dog
And 1 crazy cat
All is completely quiet in the house. We could not be more proud or more grateful.
Life is good.

It was an intense weekend for sure. So much goes into getting these pups ready for testing and life in general. We want them driven, hungry and bird crazy, but we also want dogs that we love to have them calm and confident in our home and kennel. Thank you Central Dakota NAVHDA. Thank you Kara. Thank you Blake Miller for the miles driven just to help. Not to mention all of your pigeon wrangling skills. Hoping for a whole night's sleep and we hit the ground running tomorrow!

Big walk for some little dudes! It has been cold and wet but it looks like spring is trying real hard. So good to see green again!

Love morning walks with coffee and my little dudes. These Slovakians are full of fire but at the same time are so compassionate with people. Such a neat breed. Learning more everyday! They may have been pointing horses, but hey, they were pointing! We have 1 female and a couple males available.

Ember/Rook pups are fat, happy, healthy, and loving every bit of attention they get! Hard to believe they will be tearing up the field this fall!

Happy 1st Birthday to our Slovakian "A" litter! Ben and Nadia have certainly done us proud. Would love to see a picture of your birthday pup!

Our Mission

Because of the great appreciation and love we have for this breed we have established a breeding program that concentrates on things important to every purebred dog breed. We insist on a driven dog that will do his or her job and love you just as strongly at the end of the day. All of our females are natural ability tested, one Utility tested and others to follow. These dogs are conformationally sound, vet checked and hip tested. We will begin breeding our girls fall 2019. All males are imported as we know the importance of not letting bloodlines get too close. This is quite a challenge in this breed but we will never breed just to breed if the dogs don’t meet the standards we promised to adhere to. We are passionate, we are excited, and we love this breed. It has been a dream and we are ready to live it!
