What a gorgeous night at Humble Acres! All the rain made for a beautiful reflection of God’s artistry! I LOVE barn evenings like tonight. No mosquitoes, flies, or june bugs, great music, a slight chill in the wind and worry free barn time with all of these four-legged friends. Tonight, Cheyenne and Uhtred were getting their first grazing in after being turned out and it was too beautiful not to share!

This guy here….he is always the hero for us! Lanie spotted this rat snake above one of the rafters over a stall this evening and Jimmy caught him and relocated him! Mr. No Shoulders has already given me a near heart attack for the past few days and (I assume) is the reason one of our chicks went missing a week or so ago.
So long, scary danger noodle who became a scary biting stick once he was caught!
