Toba the Bird lives with me in my apartment next to my shop but we moved him into the shop for a Halloween event and he’s enjoying the chaos so he may stay in here for a while for a change of pace!

He is in his mid-30s, I have had him since he was 11. He had a vocabulary of over 300 words, phrases, sounds and whistles. He does not talk on command (his way or the highway) and he usually is too excited when people are standing too close to his cage to say anything so you will hear whatever randomness comes out of his beak when you are ignoring him or walking away.

He’s particularly fond of wolf whistling at people.

He does bite so please do not put your fingers on his cage.

Been waiting to get your foot in the door at The Grooming Gallery?

My clients have all been booked for the 2025 calendar year and I do have a few openings for new clients on the schedule. I have some limitations though. If you fit into the criteria below and want to get on my schedule, shoot me a text (701-260-9661) or reply below and I’ll get you the form to fill out!

🐾 No med/large breeds. Small breeds only.

🐾 You will be booked for the entire year and given a card with the dates of your appointments on it after you choose what schedule works for you. This saves you from having to worry about rebooking appointments and keeps your dog on a healthy grooming schedule.

🐾 I am not open on weekends and I close for the day by 1-2:00. I am only accepting clients that can drop off in the morning and pick up when done (min 3 hours) or by 2:00. I do not have afternoon appointments available.

A few reminders!

If you don’t need your next appt, please message me as soon as possible. It is inconsiderate to not let me know or to wait until the last minute to cancel as it affects my income and other people would love those spots if I gave enough heads up.

Also, I run on a schedule. If you are running late, text me and see if I can still groom your pup. 5 minutes is no big deal but 30 minutes affects my entire day and I can’t just squeeze you in, I’m sorry!

Hello clients! I am healing well and doing well. The exhaustion is crazy but I’m resting a lot.

It’s time to sign up for the 2025 schedule! Please fill out the form below. Spots are first come, first served as far as day and time preferances so the sooner you fill it out the better I am able to accommodate.

PLEASE consider carefully. Once I schedule you, I cannot change the weeks between or the days or times you choose. Last year I had issues with people selecting 6 weeks and then wanting 8 weeks, etc. So please go back and check what you had this year and make your selections accordingly.

Your card with your dates will be given to you on your last appt of the year.

I just wanted to let my clients know my surgery this morning went very well and I am walking, drinking water and feeling ok. I should be released tomorrow.

Thank you to all who helped me out during these two months off with no income by dropping off donations or donating to the gofundme my friend set up. I didn’t expect that and super super appreciate you all.

I know these skipped appointments will be a challenge and I’m very grateful that everyone was so understanding and wished me well. I am blown away by the support. Thank you. My business means the world to me and I’m doing this so that I can keep grooming for years to come.

IMPORTANT PSA:

Check your dog for fleas and ticks before dropping off at your groomer, and be sure they are on appropriate flea and tick medication.

We have a zero tolerance policy on fleas here. Dogs with fleas are sent home immediately and you are responsible for the cost of sanitation.

If you suspect your dog has fleas, a vet appointment for medication is needed before you take them to the groomer, never take your dog in a public place if you see any sign of fleas.

Hello!

I am having a major abdominal surgery on Aug 9th. Grooming is a very tiring and physical job, and I also suffer from Fibro so healing is a long process for me. I will be taking 2 months off to recover from surgery and rebuild my strength. This is stressful for me as I will be without income, but I want to continue to do this job I love for many more years to come so I gotta take care of me right now!

All appointments between Aug 8 and Sept 30 (hopefully no longer) will be cancelled. I am in the process of sending every client a text to confirm this, so if you have not gotten this text yet, it’s coming in the next few days.

Please feel free to book with another groomer in the meantime if you can find someone to fit you in (most are very booked out). I total understand.

Thank you so much for understanding. I appreciate you all SO much!!

I will also be sending out the usual Book For Next Year form sometime in mid-Sept so keep an eye out for that as well.
