Now accepting new daycare dogs starting in July!
We're opening up 1–3 consistent spots for dogs to join our structured daycare program, with a minimum commitment of 2 days per week.

Our daycare isn't just about keeping your dog busy — it's about providing a balanced, enriching experience that supports their physical and mental well-being.

Each day includes:
✔️ Structured group play
✔️ Outdoor exercise
✔️ Individual walks for one-on-one attention
✔️ Engaging enrichment activities
✔️ Quiet time in comfortable kennels to rest and recharge

We keep group sizes small so every dog gets the attention they deserve in a calm, well-managed environment. Perfect for families with busy schedules who still want the best care for their dog.

Spots are limited, and we expect them to fill quickly!

🐾 The Need is Rising 🐾

In just the first 5 months of 2025, we’ve already distributed:

🐶 14,508 lbs of dog food
🐱 6,803 lbs of cat food
🚽 8,621 lbs of cat litter

To put that into perspective, in ALL of 2024 we gave out:

🐶 30,781 lbs of dog food
🐱 9,720 lbs of cat food
🚽 14,705 lbs of cat litter

At this pace, we’re on track to double last year’s totals - because more families than ever are reaching out for help.

💔 Pets should never go hungry because their families are facing hard times.
💪 We’re doing all we can, but we need your help to keep up with this growing demand.

How You Can Help:
🐾 Donate unopened dog or cat food
🐾 Donate cat litter (it’s flying off our shelves!)
🐾 Give financially to support bulk purchases
🐾 Volunteer your time
🐾 Share this post to raise awareness

Your kindness makes tails wag and hearts a little lighter. Thank you for showing up for the pets and people who need you most. ❤️

Please message us if you can give of your time, talent, or help us with monetary needs. We are always beyond grateful for any kind of help - big or small! 🫶🏼

Toba the Bird has been living in the shop since October when I brought him in for a kids event and he loved the chaos so much he stayed here. He has a very large vocabulary but is very shy about cameras (as you can see from the video) and talking in front of strangers.

Until recently.

He’s started to be braver and say hi, bye, and wolf whistle at people as they leave.

This is very awkward for me because no one realizes it’s him and thinks I’m just this super awkward person (which I am but I digress).

I promise I’m not wolf whistling at you.

To answer some other common questions:

🐦 he’s in his mid-30s and I’ve owned him since he was 11.

🐦 He does NOT like to be touched and will bite if you put fingers in his cage.

🐦 Sometimes he is out to the cage and likes to get into trouble and wander around the shop causing mayhem but I try to limit that to times when I’m not expecting anyone for his safety.

🐦 He feather plucks out of habit and has since he was young, so that’s why he has some bald spots.

🐦 yes that’s very likely him you heard barking. He barks more than any of the dogs here by far. He also meows and quacks.

🐦 his name is actually Toby but he chose Toba years ago so that’s what we go with (kind of like me and my preferred name of Seri)

🐦 he is an African grey parrot

Hello! There has been some confusion about my hours so let me clarify.

I don’t have a set closing time. I go home for the day when I am done with dogs, which is usually between 1-2pm.

When you drop off I always give an estimate of what time your dog will be done and ask you to wait for the text just in case I’m a few minutes behind (or done wirh them earlier). Some of you have standing lunch breaks and I clarify I’ll have your dog done by the time you requested every time.

Please respect those times and plan to pick up within 15-30 minutes of when I text you. I super appreciate when I get a reply to my text so I know you got the message as technology sometimes glitches.

I am very flexible so if you have a conflict please just let me know and I’ll work with you as long as it’s before 2. After 2pm I have other commitments.

Hope that makes sense!
