Duties include occasional house sitting, daily kennel cleaning, moving dogs to and from exercise yards, occasional dog bathing and general maintenance. Boss is a bit salty... Must love dogs first and foremost. Extra points if you are trustworthy 💯

Set your dogs up for success! Too often we are guilty of setting unrealistic expectations on our dogs. We ask them to preform tasks that, to us, appear simple, mundane, monotonous. But, to them, to THAT specific dog, it may be the equivalent of scaling Mt. Everest. Not every dog has the same amount of innate prey instinct that pushes them to sacrifice everything to make a retrieve. Some are actually hanging on by a thread! We break that thread when we put them in situations destined for failure. Don't let the first time your dog encounters a big ol thick lilly pad patch, uneven water bottoms/footing, background traffic/gunshots/game calls be when you threw a bumper or bird. ENCOURAGE, FOSTER, and ALLOW those situations. Don't force them. The Good Lord and Mother Nature are far better teachers than we will ever be.

We love it when our Alumni stop in for a visit! Hank Tuberville graduated our program in 2022. He now assists his mom, who is a Therapist, during her daily sessions and interactions with patients.

Buggy is a 1.5 year old AKC registered female Labrador looking for a great home as a pet. Bug has been with us since she was 12 weeks old. Unfortunately the retriever game was NOT in the cards for this sweet baby. However, she is a wonderful little companion and has great obedience skills. She if fully obedience trained and electronic collar conditioned and thrives with positive reinforcement. She will be spayed on July 20th and ready to go as soon as healed up. This is a great opportunity at an obedience trained dog, that is past the puppy stage and ready to latch onto a great loving family. Adoption contract and adoption fee (×,×××) do apply.
