We're often asked how on earth we groom a cat. The answer is by using whatever method we need to! Soemtimes it's easy sometimes it's risky but sometimes it just takes a lot of cuddles and a little teamwork to give a kitty a great grooming experience. This kitten was visiting us this morning for their first time in a salon ever. Needless to say, they got lots of cuddles, lots of pets and got their basic grooming needs met in a non scary or threatening way.

Reposting since are still seeing some confusion.

The salon phone is and has always been the best spot to communicate on. The HWY 70/Muddy Paws number is still active as well and goes to the same phone as our long standing number.

Also, per our automated message here on Facebook we DO NOT fulfill appts requests here on Facebook. We do all of our requests via phone or message to streamline the process, and to ensure can get back with everyone as soon as possible and not lose track of any requests trying to manage 5 different locations people can potentially communicate on. The automated message has very clear instructions on which number to call.

We understand it's frustrating to think no one has responded. It's equally frustrating when we see complaints online in community forums when we've made it as clear as possible how best to reach us, and devote hours each day to helping folks get their pups set up for a day of pampering. Our goal is to truly make the process as easy as possible while keeping our focus on the pups in front of us each day. We do not have office staff so all appointments are created by our staff at the beginning of the day, when we have moments during the day not working on pups, and at the end of the day. Scheduling is one of the most complicated parts of what we do, ensuring a dog us booked for the right time, with the right groomers, and on a day that will best meet their needs as well as the other dogs that day.

There are 866 numbers generated by our scheduling software, and they are subject to change with software updates, and now thay we are consolidated text one location, the HWY70 866 number is no longer active.

So please use the actual salon phone numbers! :) we hate to miss anyone's requests. We have kept both lines.

We are still hearing that folks are messaging old software based numbers and not actually contacting the salon directly via our existing and published phone numbers.

So reminder, the software numbers send reminders and can be used for texting BUT, they are subject to change. So we recommend texting the actual salon numbers. Both location numbers are still active and go to one single phone.

We hate thinking someone has not been able to get ahold of us due to contacting an inactive number.

We've been trying to give the heads up for over a year that we may finally get to this point. And if your dog isn't on a prebooked schedule, there may come a time soon when we are unable to get your dog scheduled in the time frame you need or at all. We are currently booking over a month out for larger dogs. (And doodle clients over 20ish lbs) This includes both haircuts AND bath dogs. We are letting everyone with a medium/large dog know that we highly recommend prebooking for the year. Just like many of the other salons in town, we will not be able to take anymore appointments for non routine clients (meaning those not coming in 6 weeks of less) We are getting close to that point and are already there for larger dogs. So trying to help everyone plan now!

We were super excited to see they plowed our street this afternoon! There is quite a bit of snow/slush in the edge of the sidewalk from that, so just pull up with caution, but the sidewalk and walkway to the building are salted and clear! So we are excited and hopeful to be ooen tomorrow! If you are scheduled tomorrow and find your travel conditions remain unsafe, just let us know! Safety First!

This has been a crazy week for sure, and we know everyone is needing their dogs cleaned up. But out of an abundance of caution and care, and because of present and worsening icey conditions on Church St. and many homes, we are making the decision to be CLOSED on Friday 1/19. All appointments will be rescheduled. We will reach out tomorrow. Stay warm, and stay safe.
