We are officially done grooming at the Main Street location! All services are being done, just around the corner, at 211 Church Street!
We have also officially decided that due to an overwhelming positive response from clients about the new location, we will NOT reopen the HWY 70/Luther Lake location when it's finally done with roof repairs.
Being under one roof again benefits not only your dogs, but our team as well, and allows us to be able to keep pricing the same inspite of the increases we have felt this year as a small business. Just as you have.
We are excited to see what 2024 will bring. We have some great ideas for your pups we hope you will love!
HUGE NEWS!! We're so excited to share this news!
We're moving! After the 1st of the year, we will be leaving Main Street, and will be moving the downtown location to 211 Church Street, just around the corner from the current Main Street location with much better parking (Hooray)
Note- all appointments through the end of the year will still take place as planned, we'd never leave anyone with out grooming for the holidays who has an appointment already in place. (That said... we're nearly booked through the end of the year Downtown)

UPDATE- We are FULL for Large (which includes most haircut dogs over 50ish lbs at this time) through the end of December. We still have room for small dogs, and baths, though large dog baths are nearly full.
The holidays aren't far now, but we are filling up for fast for both Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Currently, we have NO MORE appointments for large haircuts from NOW through the beginning of December. (This also includes doodles over 25/30 lbs due to their light weight but larger size)
We also have very few spots for large dogs and doodles in the weeks surrounding Christmas as well. So if you need a spot, don't delay. Look at the calendar for both holidays. Some days are nearly full for small dog haircuts as well. We do have space for large bath only dogs at this time, but we anticipate being at capacity for those soon as well.
We don't normally post this type of content, but this video really resignated with us. This week, we've had to send a few pups home due to behavior, and sometimes we're not met with kindness and understanding. When the decision is made, it's 100% about your pet's safety and their experience. We've had pet parents take it personal vs. understanding that while they are our "fur babies," the reality is that they are still animals experiencing something that can be scary for them. And responding the way an animal responds. And we can not do the training, desensitization work, and teaching in 2 hours that must be worked on consistently at home. But we're happy to help give you suggestions on how to best help your dogs. Dogs that bite at tools, thrash, alligator roll, don't allow us to handle them, are putting themselves in danger. And larger dogs who act this way also put our groomers' safety at risk. This also applies to dogs who scream, or bark, and have a hard time being kenneled. Those are all signs of stress, and we won't put your pet through that. They need training and behavior help so we can do our job safely. So please understand if your dog isn't finished, or we recommend a different method for grooming (such as mobile or one on one), or say we can't see your dog until they've had training and can tolerate the process safely, it's 100% about your pet's safety.
In order to do our best to accommodate current clients of larger haircut dogs (for doodles and poodle mixes, this means dogs that are around 30-35 lbs and up) We have limited the intake of new clients of certain sizes. But it's also important to remember that those spots currently book anywhere from 6-8 weeks, so planning ahead is essential. We truly do understand the frustration, but please understand that we are not an exception, this is pretty much the standard for the industry, so we want to help you best take care of your pets by being prepared and encouraging to plan ahead. This video also takes a few minutes to explain why the wait is what it is.
