Neyland first started as a regular daycare attendee, making friends with everyone he met. Recently, his owner reached out and asked if we would be willing to foster him as she could no longer care for him. We don't typically take fosters directly from owners (we work with rescues when it comes to fostering), but because Neyland was already like family, we agreed.
Our rescue contacts reached out, but to all of our dismay, no shelter or rescue would take him because of his breed and color. This sweet boy deserves a loving home, so we are reaching out to our community in hopes of finding him a forever home.
While he gets along well with dogs here at daycare, he can be possessive of resources at home, so we recommend he be the only pet in the household. He does well with older children, but is nervous around babies and younger kids.
He loves belly rubs and cuddles, and can't wait to be someone's best friend. Will you help Neyland find his forever home?
