Once again we have some foster pups that need your help! Valerie and Sandy are two bonded seniors that are in need of a home to spend their retirement days. Their previous owner passed away sadly and there was nobody to take them in. They are potty trained and p*e pad trained as well!

At ten years old, they are still incredibly happy and sprightly, they get along with other dogs, and seem to like older children. We would love for them to get adopted together, they will make the best cuddle buddies. If you'd like more information, contact us or R.A.R.E rescue!

Mondays are and we are absolutely in love with mister Harvey Dent! This little tater is the sweetest guy and just loves to be loved on. Every morning we come in and he has burritoed himself in his blanket and comes to greet us with the happiest little bark!

July 4th is the most common day that dogs go missing. Make sure you and your pup are prepared for the loud noises! If they don't have identification, wrap duct tape or painter's tape around their collar and write your contact information in sharpie!

And if you are celebrating with fireworks of your own, please be mindful of those who may not enjoy it as much as you and your family! The number one thing this holiday is to be safe!

It's that time of year again! Heat stroke kills an average of 163 animals each year in the US, and with temperatures on the rise, we want to make sure everyone knows what to watch for. Remember, not all dogs will stop playing/walking/running when they get hot and tired, so it's our job to make sure they stay safe all year long! Here are the warning signs of heat stroke. If your pet exhibits any of these, get them to a cool, shaded place and call your vet right away! Don't offer water in large quantities (as this can actually make them sick and increases the risk of them inhaling the water if they're breathing heavily), and get a cool rag to put on their paw pads. Rapidly cooling them off can cause them to go into shock!
