✨Meet Mushi!🐶💙✨

Hey everybody, my name is Mushi! I'm so excited to meet you! Well, I'm excited to meet everybody. I'm an American Bulldog mix, and I was born right about 03/01/2022. My friends here at the shelter like to call me all kinds of goofy nicknames, like Mushy, Mushster, Mushmallow, and Mushiboy. I don't mind any of them, because that means I'm getting attention! Attention is one of my favorite things, after all. I do have lots of favorite things, though. Treats are my favorite, people are my favorite, toys are my favorite, running is my favorite, playing is my favorite... I could go on and on! I'm told my squishy cheeks and happy smile are irresistable, so only come meet me if you're prepared to fall in love! I really like other dogs, too, but I definitely have fun being the dog in charge. If you already have any other dogs, make sure you bring them to meet me so I can decide if they can hang with me. I think kids are great, but I really don't like being hugged or held, so only kids that understand my boundaries, please.

Mushi is fully vetted, microchipped, and neutered.

✨Meet Holbrook!🐶💙

If crazy good snuggling and a constantly wagging tail sounds good to you, look no further than Holbrook. Holbrook is a 60lbs mixed breed, with an estimated birthday of 06/01/2021. We're not sure if we've ever met a dog as happy as this guy! Seriously, Holbrook is all sunshine and rainbows, and we can't get enough! He is a huge social butterfly, anyone he meets better be ready to make a new friend! He enjoys the company of other dogs, too, but as always we require a meet and greet if you already have any in your home. He is suited to a cat free home. Holbrook is a champion at playtime, this guy loves nothing more than chewing toys and running in our playyards! If you need a little extra light in your life, Holbrook is surely the pup for you.

He is fully vetted and microchipped, and neutered.

Introducing Katherine! 🐶💕

This lovely lady arrived at our facility in early January after spending several years alone and repeatedly having litters at a sawmill in Whit Bluff. When she came to us, she was very pregnant, shy, and nervous. Just two days after her arrival, she gave birth to 14 adorable puppies.

Now that she has weaned all her pups, she is thrilled that this was her last litter. She enjoys her new life as an empty nester.

Katherine gets along well with other dogs, cats, and absolutely adores children. While she may be a bit shy around newcomers, a simple treat will quickly make you her best friend. At 3 years old, she is ready to find her forever family teaching her what being part of a family is all about.

This sweet girl was wandering around on Jackson Brothers Blvd by the shelter today and was caught by Animal Control. She had no collar or microchip.

We need pedigree food!

While we are able to utilize a while variety of brands for feeding our dogs, it is critical that we maintain a stock of Pedigree Adult Dog Food to keep as our base diet for the dogs in our care. Using a consistent brand to mix with the many other foods we receive is critical to keeping our dogs bellies happy and healthy, frequently changing their diets leads to many health problems and complications that we avoid by keeping a steady base diet.

At this time, we are nearly out of Pedigree Adult Dog food. Any and all donations are so greatly appreciated!
