I can't say thank you enough to Solid in the Saddle for this amazing work out program! This will be my 3rd winter doing the 8 weeks solid in the saddle. I look forward to continuing to strengthen this winter and finish catching my right side up to my left!
-For those of you new to following me, I broke my right heel on April 1st, 2024 and there is still less strength and balance through my right foot and a leg. I've been looking forward to winter to continue my strength, balance and agility training!

Things are slow now that winter is approaching (maybe)! I am working a winter job in Dillon, but I am still riding Billy Jean and Ranger and doing a few lessons!
This wonderful student of mine had a fantastic ride on Billy Jean last weekend, showing the tremendous growth they have each had this year. She has never rode Billy Jean, and Billy Jean has never had this young of rider. I'm very proud of both of them 🥰

****UPDATE 11/22/25*** SOLD!****

For sale on consignment, Ranger! Aka Mor-Hay! This 2 year old gaited mustang gelding is from the High Rock HMA. He is microchipped and has a freeze brand of course. He currently stands at 15.1-15.2 hands and is still growing!
I did baby boot camp with him last fall and did his first 90 days this fall (finished at the beginning of November). He has always been extremely friendly. My client had no problem haltering him on her own about a week after adoption. He has progressed quickly in his training and is incredibly smart and gentle. He has never been shod, but stands good for trims. He has hard feet and ridden over all sorts of terrain without a problem, I don't forsee that he would need shoes unless ridden extensively of very rocky terrain.
That being said, he is only 2 Years Old! He can be watchy in new environments and can turn away quickly when he does get spooked. He is less watchy with a confident and experienced rider and consistent daily riding.
He will make an excellent trail and/or ranch horse, he just needs miles, maturity and confidence! He has also been growing like a w**d this past year, so it would not hurt to give him the next 6 months to grow up. I will offer a leg up discount to anyone who wishes for me to continue his training next year.
