Spots are booking fast for 2025, I only have a handful of openings before August of 2025!

Whiskey is close.... he had learned to face up and move off pressure. I've got him almost trusting me, he is ok with my tools, just not quite sure enough to let me tie that halter on him. However, I ended on a really good note (the 2nd video of the halter going on and off him). I'll let him soak on that tonight!

I don't often "treat" or feed animals from my hand very often, but there are always exceptions. As I am gaining this guys trust, I did feed him from my hand today. And it took a lot for him to initially eat out of my hand because he didn't want his lips to touch my fingers! But since it was dinner time and alfalfa is so yummy, it didn't take very long for him to follow me and eat through the fence too. I was then also able to pet on him over the fence ❤️

This is Whiskey, a yearling John mule. He liked people until he got gelded, now he wants nothing to do with people! However, after working with him for about a week, I was able to pet his neck on each side and between his eyes today. This picture was taking after I walked out if the pen... I love seeing them yawn and get those big releases going, it assures me that my timing to be done was correct. He had 3 or 4 yawns today, so I'm excited to see how he is the next few days!

Thank you so much Kristi and Chris Colleran for trusting me with your big Mustang Shiloh! He is such an amazing mover! Flying lead changes have been my nemesis for a couple years now, but he is such a natural! And a huge thank you to Amber Wagoner-Toyne who has guided me, shaped me and given me amazing advice and knowledge and pushed me everyday. And to Amber Rose Mason (let's ride together soon!) for giving me a spot in the clinic in Dillon so I could learn from Nick Dowers, Bryan Neubert and Joe Wolter - thank you all! So many things clicked for me during that clinic.
I got a couple flying lead changes on Tang last week too!
I'm so blessed and greatful. Never quit learning and always keep striving to reach your goals!

I still have space for 1-2 animals for next month. No c**t starts at this time. Problem horses, tune ups, miles, yearlings and weanlings. I do arena work, getting them soft and putting a few buttons on them. I am also backed up to many many acres of BLM I ride in, so they get lots of exposure!
I also have spots for spring for all of the above and c**t starts, so book those now as well!

Lucy is amazing! She is a perfect mule for taking pictures and photos. A very comfortable ride and she'll walk out all day with those happy floppy ears! 🥰
