Cats use their whiskers to understand the environment around them. To prevent "whisker fatigue," make sure you use the correct food and water bowls. Stay away from using dog bowls because they can be too deep. Instead, buy cat bowls and those designed to prevent whisker fatigue.

To wrap up Tech Week, we would like to recognize our 2 part time Registered Veterinary Technicians, Suzanne and Heather!
Suzanne has been crucial in helping us behind the scenes with maintaining inventory and keeping us on top of things! You can find her in the clinic on some Sundays.
Heather's presence brings a calm energy in our surgery department and her vast knowledge has helped us train employees throughout the years. She helps us on weekends when we need extra hands!
If you are lucky enough to catch these 2 in the clinic, show them some appreciation!

As National Veterinary Technician Week comes to a close, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to our incredible team one more time. Their unwavering dedication, compassion, and expertise are at the heart of everything we do. Our hospital would not be the same without each unique individual.

When compared to many other cat breeds, the Siamese may have more than nine lives! That is because the average domesticated cat lives between the ages of 12 and 15 years while a typical Siamese can reach up to 20 years old. There have been even longer Siamese lifespans recorded. To make sure that your kitty lives the longest life possible, it is imperative to keep on top of their healthcare! This includes routine vaccinations, checkups, and consulting with us whenever something seems off.

Good morning!
As we continue to move forward with an amazing week of recognizing our incredible veterinary technicians and assistants, we want to take a moment to highlight just how essential they are to our team! 🐾❤️ Their dedication, compassion, and expertise make a world of difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Today, we would like to highlight 2 more of our technicians, Hailey and Leslie.
Hailey has worked with us for 2 years and has become an essential part of our team. She absolutely loves anything related to oral health and does an amazing job with dentals and dental radiographs. She takes full advantage of the Colorado lifestyle and is an avid rafter, snowboarder, and loves camping.
Leslie is our newest technician after having completed her Veterinary Technician degree in Texas this past May! She was an intern with us through her last semester of tech school, and now works with us full time and fits in wonderfully with our team.

Please be sure to share your appreciation with them the next time you see them - all of our staff truly appreciates all the kind words from our amazing clients!
